Wow, can you believe this was our first HL tourny win since 2001? That is when Jesse hit the 3 as time expired against UWM. We won 63-62.
If we don't miss the front end of all our FT's this game is a run a way but we held on for the W. Their was so many positives tonight.
- 17- 5-5-1, what a great stat line for Dashaun. What I love is that he had 5 assist and only 1 turnover. His dribble penetration was awesome.
- 8-6-4-1, Jaron put together a nice steady game again. How about his 4 assist to only 1 turnover. Jaron has avg. 6 assist over the last 3 games. His 6 rbs might be a season high?
- Zakee was the key tonight. His perimeter shooting opened the lane up for Dashaun big time. Honestly, I thought his shot looked a little flat tonight but he keep making them so that goes to show you what I know.
- Zach had a good game but his fouls, or should I say phantom fouls, keep him from having a bigger role tonight. Still 9 pts and 6 rbs is solid.
- By Drew's standards he had and off night. He was missing shots that are usually automatic for him. I thought he had good looks. They just weren't falling tonight. Nice to know that Drew can have and off night and we still can win.
- Both Everrett & Zakee contributed 5 boards.
- We killed them on the boards 39-25. Butler only had 1 offensive rebound for the game. That is hard to imagine!
- Jordan was quite tonight but like always he played hard and didn't back down and inch.
- We only had 8 turnovers! That is awesome.
Great win tonight now lets go get the titans.
