Hey all,
New to this forum and I was thinking of purchasing season tickets for the first time. I was wondering where you STHs have your seats/where do you prefer to sit?
I saw depending on the level, you get access to the raider club, is that just a convenience thing so you don't walk all the way up for food/drinks, or do they offer a little more selection wise?
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks! I may not be the best person to ask but I am a recent alumni so I get a recent alumni discount. It is 100 bucks and they out you in a corner. They are really good seats, but often move to section 219 more towards the middle of the court. Depending on your finacial situation I would recommend the "value" deal. I think it is 125 in the corner, you don't have access to the gold zone unless you make a donation. Same with parking you can only get parking up close with a donation! Hope this helps!

We sit in section 220, "premium 2". I prefer to face the bench and also like to be more centered. I think it might be $200 a seat. If you download the raider mobile app, there's a pricing map.
Seats are great, couple next to us is nice and the people in front get into the game which is also nice. We are a couple rows from the first "premium 2" row. Another preference for me because I wanted to see better if anyone was walking to their seats.
I forget how the tickets plus the mandatory athletic donation works but last year we had access to the raider pub only. This year I added more so I could have better parking in the orange lot. Orange lot is tiny, we were a couple minutes late to Saturdays game and it was already full.
We are suppose to get a gift card and complimentary tickets with our level of donation but I haven't received either. The guy that called me was nice but I didn't understand if I would ever get those this year lol. Also our parking was in the incorrect level but I didn't correct them on that until recently. Nice people, they are trying to make it work with limited staff.
I think parking anywhere but the pond would be worth it. It's easier to get out of imo.
I also think donating enough for the raider pub is worth it. It's half off on drinks which is worth it right there. They have different, specialized food option each game. It's usually pretty good, nice to have another option other then a hotdog and it's a better value then other options imo. Plus unlimited free popcorn! They have a better beer selection too.
TLDR - raider pub is good value and better food/drink options, imo section 219/220, couple rows from the bottom, are great seats.

Are you saying you paid for parking in Orange lot but it was completely full by the time you showed up and you had to go to a different lot? Also thanks for the info guys.

I have seats all over the arena, really not a bad seat in the house to watch the game. If you want more interaction in the game, the premium 1 seats are great. You can hear the players and coaches, and feel like more a part of the game. The thing is, you have to decide if that is worth the extra money. I think it is because of the interaction, orange parking and Raider Pub.
The parking isn’t an issue with the amount of fans currently, but if we have a really good year, it will make a big difference. Right now the green parking people are able to pull right into the orange area because they are basically using the honor system with the number of fans we have attending. So that is why orange is filling up now. If we start getting bigger crowds, I’m sure in the future, they will route people to their specific lots. But there was still plenty of parking available in the green/iorange lot.

The orange section is on 3 sides of the Nutter Center. There's no way all were completely full. The sections north and west of the Nutter Center are smaller--perhaps one or both were full, but there's also a large orange section on the south side that has plenty of available parking every game.

I agree with BBallRaider, there isn't a bad seat in the house. They also noted that parking in the orange/gold/green lot is the honor system, which I would also agree too. Parking has never been bad though. Someone noted there are 3 orange lots, which I was unaware of. The small lot I parked in/want to park in is closer to 220. The other orange lots provide little difference to me. I don't think I have seen multiple orange lot parking signs, other then that smaller lot. I'll check on Saturday's game.

As many have said, there aren't any bad seats. Plus with the arena only 1/3 full, you can pretty much sit where ever you want. I would avoid rows 7-8 because of too much foot traffic right in front of you in the walkway. The lower bowl seats (rows 1-6) that collapse back for a larger arena (like monster truck shows) are extremely uncomfortable, and some of them are broken (I only know this from sitting in them at the women's games). Those seats also have less leg room than the fixed seats in rows 7 and higher above the walkway -- but they are the closest. If you want freebees (tee shirt toss, ball toss, etc), the cheerleaders almost never through them much higher than about row 10-12.
My recommendation is to sit in one of the center sections, as low as your budget allows, but anything row 20 or lower is a pretty good seat. If your budget only allows the corner, you can just move to empty seats in the center sections (almost anywhere above row 18).
I personally don't eat/drink at the game, so the raider club is not something I would consider. Friends of ours watch every game from the budweiser deck up on the main concourse, and never sit in their actual seats. That view is way too high up for me, plus on the end, but if that's your thing, might as well buy the cheapest corner seats. Also, lots of people sit there every game, so arrive early to reserve the tables.
Plenty of parking in the green/gold lots, and if you sit on the side with the benches (Section 205-206) its a shorter walk from the parking to your section than the other side (Sections 218-219).
Lastly, when you choose your seats, you can see which seats are sold to other season ticket holders and choose accordingly, allowing for empty seats beside you to set your coats on. This is not an option in the lowest mid court sections (which are full), but anything above the walkway has lots to choose from.
Lastly, if you are still on the fence on whether to get the season tickets, highly recommend you do it! And for an additional $25 per seat, you can add season tickets to the women's games, which is all open seating. Sitting on the courtside seats for the ladies is pretty cool.

Here's the parking map for anyone unsure of the designated areas: wsuraiders.com/sports/2022/7/11/mens-basketball-parking.aspxIt really comes down to how much you want to spend and how close to the court you want to be. As someone who has had seats in the first few rows, sitting too close has its downsides--your view can be obstructed at times due to coaches, players on the bench, or others blocking the view of play. One thing I don't like about the Nutter Center is you either enter at floor level or at the very top of seating. If your seats are very high or very low, you might have to walk all the way up & down the stairs depending on where you park. If you (or someone who might attend with you) can't do all those stairs, that would be something to consider when choosing your seats and/or parking. Of course, there's an elevator, but I'd prefer not use it.
