Comparing us with Detroit

It is scary how similiar we are to Detroit. Statistically we have the edge but as PB said on his post game show, we'll need to be mentally tough if we want a chance to win.

We have now won 4 out of our last 5 games. Can we win 3 games in a row for the first time this season? Detroit is coming off a huge road win at GB 2 games ago so playing on a neutral court shouldn't be intimidating to them this Friday.

Detroit is a terrible 3 point shooting team so to me the keys to the game will be stopping Cotton's dribble penetration and with Detroits stifling defense we need to avoid prolong scoring droughts.

We will have to keep up with them on the glass. This should be a physical game which means Jordan should see more minutes then usual and Everretts minutes will decline just a bit.

Can we win 3 in a row for the first time this year..........I hope so.

I like our chances against Detroit on Friday. We match up well against them when they are not shooting well from the outside. Theus is very streaky. When he is on, Detroit is a multi-dementional team. When he is having an off night we can sag our defense and focus on shuting down their big men. Cotton isn't a good 3 pt shooter at all. His bread and butter is scoring around the basket. We need to clog up the middle and stop him from scoring around the basket. We need to make him earn it from the outside.

We need to stay out of foul trouble and not have any big chunks of time where we go into a scoring droughts. If we play consistent, we can win.

i think the winner of this game will be the team that controls the boards. if i remember right, they outrebounded us up there and won, and we outrebounded them down here and won. we just need to box out and aggressively rebound. every missed shot is ours needs to be our mindset. i do not think we could have had a better bracket to get to the finals than the one we got. it will be tough but doable. that is all one can ask for. except that it be on tv.
