Looks like Jackson State out of the SWAC is the final team in the UK MTE. Must be unrelated.

If anyone going to the Myrtle Besch tournament would like to incorporate vacation time with it, I have time share at Schooner II. It is a two bedroom unit with sleeping sofa. Can sleep 6 people. It has ocean view. The going rental is $1400 for the week. I will be willing to go below that rate, if can get them to agree. Please respond to the post or email me entjwb@gmail.com

So is the home out of conference schedule just Air Force and then throw in some D2/NAIAs?

So is the home out of conference schedule just Air Force and then throw in some D2/NAIAs? It's possible. There's room for three more games. I think 2 non-D1 games is likely since that's how many there's been each of the past 2 seasons. The remaining game could be another road buy game or it could be a home/home that starts at home.

Raiders set to host Marshall as part of 2024-25 home slate
DAYTON – Wright State men's basketball head coach Clint Sargent has announced the Raiders will host Marshall inside the Nutter Center during the 2024-25 season, welcoming the Sun Belt Conference foe to Dayton on December 11. This will be the fifth meeting all-time between the two schools, all coming since the turn of the century. The sides met in home-and-home contests in December 2006 and November 2007, then again in December 2020 and November 2021. The two sides have split the pair of meetings inside the Nutter Center, with the Raiders earning the win in the 2007 matchup before falling in the 2020 season-opening contest in the COVID-19 altered season. "In terms of our scheduling criteria, this game makes a lot of sense for us," Sargent said. "It's important that we schedule home-and-homes with regional programs who have high expectations. We know Marshall is a great brand that our fans will enjoy having in the Nutter Center and will be a great test for our team." Wright State previously announced it will open the 2024-25 season at Kentucky on November 4, take part in the Myrtle Beach Invitational November 21-24 and host Air Force inside the Nutter Center on November 30. wsuraiders.com/news/2024/8/16/mens-basketball-raiders-set-to-host-marshall-as-part-of-2024-25-home-slate.aspx?

The Wright State athletics site has posted a schedule page for the 2024-25 season, but only lists the games they've officially announced; It doesn't include the road games at Miami, Toledo, or Eastern Michigan.
With room for 2 games on the schedule and still no schedule release, I'm thinking maybe they are still finalizing dates for another buy game at a power conference school or trying for another home and home.
While the Myrtle Beach Invitational field is similar to what the Raiders have faced in prior MTEs, this is a step up since it is an ESPN sponsored event. Hopefully Raider fans show up and the Raiders can continue to get invited to more ESPN sponsored MTEs. For those that can't be in attendance, watching on the ESPN family of networks is certainly better than Flosports.

The Myrtle Beach Tourney looks like a solid one overall. It'd be nice to see the Raiders play Ohio U., but not sure they'll end up matching up. I'm surprised the schedule isn't completely in place by now. Just seems that D1 schools would know their schedule by this late in the year. I don't understand the D2 games either. I guess I never have. With so many teams in D1 hoops, how can every year schools have multiple games at home vs. D2 schools? There must be financial reasons for it all. I don't mind in a sense playing one game against maybe Central State or Cedarville just for the local appeal, but it seems Wright State could get home and home two-year series every year against say Eastern Kentucky, Valpo, Northern Illinois, etc. instead of playing Muskingum, etc.
