I hear that the Raiders may start the season at Kentucky.

I would like to see a couple of buy in games against high ranked teams. This team probably needs a 9-10 player rotation and give them the opportunity to improve their skills. This will require the coaches and fans t keep encouraging them for improvement. Reviewing film to see good and not so good plays. Improvement happens when each player recognizes what needs to be improved. They need to be their own critic about their play. Being a critic is not putting them down but looking at what can make them better. That is why a player on the bench should be paying attention to the play of their opponent on the court as much as how their team is doing. Learn the weakness of the opponent. That is what at least one assistant coach should be doing.

I never, ever thought I would say this, but this might be a good time to “dumb down” our schedule. We have lost 60-65% of our offense and judging by the transfer portal recruits’ stats we are not adding a whole lot back into the lineup.-

Any word if this would be part of the 4 team UK MTE? Other announced schools are Lipscomb, WKU, and UK.

Is there a date set for that MTE?

I think that would tell the answer if we are rumored to start the season at UK.

Only that it will be in the early portion of the season with UK hosting at Rupp and other games being played elsewhere.

Buddy at UK said the official announcement for the schedule is expected this week. Raiders are expected to head to Rupp Arena on Monday, November 4th.

That looks like a great evening of basketball. As a plus, I think I will be in Ohio on Nov 30th, so I should be in the Nutt House that evening.

Regardless of if is good or bad for the team...isn't this a year where buy games should be more available?
It seemed like in the Nagy era all we talked about was not being able to get many buy games since power 5's were afraid of Louden Love, WSU track record etc.

Playing UK Nov 4th? Man, basketball shouldn't start until Thanksgiving. These seasons are too long.
