I heard the same from a staff member in the Athletics Dept. I expect growing pains with a new AD but, so far, communication has been really bad.

Quite honestly, the only selling point of promoting Brown besides saving the cost of running a national search for a new AD was her familiarity with our athletic department. It is really really sad that our AD doesn’t see the importance of getting information about the ONLY sport under her leadership that has any potential at all to create revenue for her department out to the general public in a timely manner. I see that the sports information department finally got off their ass and tweeted about the exhibition game tomorrow. This kind of bs is the reason so many of us wanted our president to do a real national search for our next AD. I’m really really tired of our athletic department is “one big family” mentality. That mentality leads to you not holding people accountable to do their jobs. Personally, I want an AD that lights a fire under everyone’s ass to start earning their paycheck or replacing them with someone that wants to earn their paycheck. There is no reason whatsoever that hasn’t been daily tweets from our athletic department for weeks now about the start of the season. It literally costs you nothing to copy and past the same tweet multiple times. It just takes a little effort. A god damn college intern could do a better job with our social media accounts for free than what we are paying someone to do. |

It doesn't seem so. The schedule on the WSU website only lists radio (101.5 HANK FM / WING 1410 AM) for this game. All regular season home games have ESPN+ listed. Edit: I just noticed the article mentions ways to follow and it only has links to follow stats or listen to the radio online. |
