The win over An OSU is available to watch in entirety on youTube. Well worth the watch. Great weekend, taking down both an ACC and a Big10 team.
Also a good weekend for the HL. MKE also took down a Big 10 team (Iowa), and CSU beat an ACC team (my Hokies). Unlike some (most?) other sports, the HL is actually decent at volleyball.

Volleyball finishes the out of conference schedule at 8-3, with 2 wins over power 5 (Ohio St, Miami/Fla), plus wins over Xavier and Butler, and an exposition win over UC. Why can't basketball have nice things like this?? HL play begins tomorrow night in the Jungle at IU Indy -- We'll be there, but they will always be Oohey Pooey to me.

Traveled to Beeghly to watch the Raiders volleyball team win 2 matches against YSU. After a slow start in the first set on Friday, they turned it up and it was complete domination by WSU, with straight set sweeps both days. This team is really fun to watch! Stellar defense, and a ton of offensive firepower.
Next weekend is at MKE, the 2nd place team in the league. If they win both of those, WSU would have a 3 game lead on everyone else, and a straight forward path to the league regular season title. With a split they would still remain in first place, as after this weekend WSU is the only team left undefeated in HL play (7-0).

Volleyball loses a heartbreaker in 5 sets at MKE. Won the first 2 sets, then after losing the next two, Had the lead and even a match point in the 5th, but lost in a squeaker. Stats were almost dead even. Now tied for the league lead. Back at it tomorrow, hopefully can take their revenge.

Volleyball takes a thrilling 5 setter in Milwaukee! Great win in that statistically they were dominated, but somehow pulled it out. The two sets they lost were by double digits, and the three they won were each comeback wins by exactly 2 points after trailing significantly at some point in every set.
Appeared to be a coaching victory as well, in that our outside hitters were shut down by MKE, and their hitting percentages and kill numbers were very low (among their lowest this season). So WSU responded tactically by consistently setting the middle blockers, and got season high kills from both Zegunis and Bransfield.
Raiders now have a one game lead over MKE in the standings at the league's half way point. Back in McLin next weekend against third place GB.

Volleyball continued to impress over the weekend with two days of thoroughly dismantling an overmatched Robert Morris squad. Next up is Ft Wayne (tied for 3rd in HL), including senior day on Saturday.
