I admire your resiliency, but when are you going to finally realize that the fact that you don't know the "secret clubhouse handshake" will forever hang the "not welcome here" sign permanently around your neck. With respect to the current running thread over there, you should once again realize that the proverbial "double standard" reigns supreme on that sight. I know the traffic level here isn't what either of us would like it to be, but hopefully more folks will eventually figure out the merits and rewards of participating at a greater level here. Personally speaking, my zeal for WSU basketball (and thus my participation here) has been affected this year by some unfortunate "off the court" family issues that make the basketball related stuff seem pretty trivial right now. Hopefully, that tide will be turning here in the near future. More power to you if you want to keep fighting the good fight, but we all know what happens to those that dare go down that road regularly.

It used to be the home for recovering members of the Ed Schilling Apologist Club, but I'm not sure what the secret handshake is now. Maybe a tin foil hat and burning copies of the DDN in your back yard. ;D

The funny thing about all of this is that I have tried to post links to this message board over to RRB 2-3 times. Each time one of the administrators over there deleted it within an hour. It is sad that the first real mention of this board on RRB (that wasn't deleted) was Seanmwsu copying my wisecrack of Cigarboy.

grunge, i hope your off court issues are not with your dad, and that he is doing well. i think last year you were moving him up here. hope he is ok. meanwhile, even though i have pretty strong disagreements with some folks on rr, i enjoy the site a lot. i wish all raider fans could be welcome on several boards. i think we all share the same goal. i certainly do not consider myself an es apologist. i think someone has to make decisions about what is on a board. i was on loyola's board recently, clicked on a story and found it to be a vulgar, f word filled piece of garbage. i would not want to support a site with dung like that on it. lets just hope that next year is the "turnaround" year for the raiders. fans have been very patient and are right to expect an improved raider team. Keith, you are so right about expectations. Just dont compare the vulgar, hateful comments you found somewhere with censorship on the other board. It is party line or no line. I stopped posting and visiting that site long time ago. Less aggrevation and more time to dedicate to what I like, Wright State basketball. I wish traffic here was better, but I enjoy it nonetheless. I have to admit that I still visit the other board sometimes, and it usually turns me off for several weeks.

raiderette, i am curious about that party line. i have been pretty outspoken in disagreement with a lot of folks over there but never had a problem. i do not consider myself a "toer of the line". i think raider fans can disagree about a lot but still be raider fans. when the controversy over es staying or going was in full heat, i was very much supportive of canning him. that put me in disagreement with a large number of posters, but i never had a probllem posting or getting together with folks at the coachs show. lets kick butt next year and hit the ncaa. it would be nice for the raiders to have some success. it has been a long time. GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!

Let's not for get how Rowdy got all bent out of shape over a person posting the Burlson and Kock were quiting the team. He called it irresponsible to post that and absolutely dogged the person who posted it. I believe that he even called it false. The next day Kock was gone and Rowdy never apologized to that poster. That did it for me.
Of course Rowdy quoting scripture over the Boyd situation was almost as bad.
I understand it is his board but you can't make rules that say if you don't agree with me you have to go.
