I saw this link over on Milwaukee's message board. It has all of the teams participating in bracket busters and ranks them according to their RPI. The site has WSU listed as the 30th best road team. Our current match up would be against Northeastern. They are the 30 best home team. www.wku.edu/%7Ecortney.basham/busterj10.htm

That site hasn't been updated recently. After WSU defeated YSU last night our RPI jumped to 167. That would make us the 22nd or 23rd best road team and match us up with Montana or St. Peters.

I would like to see WSU play Western Kentucky, Ohio University, Valparaiso, Murray State, Kent State, or Evansville. They are all local and our fans could travel to the game this year.

I wouldn't mind seeing WSU play Evansville this year. I think several of us Raider fans would like to see a Jordan Pleiman/Matt Webster match up.

There are only 11 days left before the Bracket Buster pairings are announced. WSU has 4 big games before then that can impact who we get paired up against. We still play (161) Green Bay, (18) Milwaukee, (98) Illinois Chicago, and (101) Butler. Currently, WSU is the 21st rated road team (up from 30th last week). If the pairing were announced today, WSU would play Drexel. We don't have a chance at this year's ESPN games and whoever we play is not going to propel us into the NCAA tournament. Our matchup this year will determine one of our home games next year though. Ohio U and Valpo are 2 home teams ranked very close to WSU. I would love to see either one of them next year at the Nutter Center. www.thebracketboard.com/

After looking at RPIs after Saturday's games, here's what I think the matchups will be for our conference (mainly matched up by RPI, with some changes because of same conference matchups):
Missouri State @ UWM (unless Missouri State is upset by Indiana State tonight) Butler @ Ohio (could be TV...kind of close, maybe ESPN360) UIC @ Hofstra Fairfield @ Loyola Wright State @ Eastern Kentucky High Point @ UWGB Tennessee State @ Detroit Cal State-Northridge @ Cleveland State Louisiana-Lafayette @ Youngstown State
The only thing today that could change RPIs is the Missouri State @ Indiana State game and the MAC, who has all of it's teams playing today. Unless there are upsets, there won't be many changes beyond this.
By RPI, Wright State and UWGB were matched up, so I had to do some changes with teams that were close to them.

YSU is a road team in Bracket Buster this year, not a home team.
After the TV games, these will be mostly geographic based. It really doesn't matter if #45 road team plays the #40 or #50 home team. CSU will not be playing a team from California.
I see YSU playing at Canisus, Eastern Illinois or Central Michigan.

Well, taking regional possibilities into account, here's a projection based on that. Some were tough to call because they had to go somewhere, but no close teams by RPI really matched up well against them.
Missouri State @ UWM Butler @ Western Kentucky UIC @ Montana Fairfield @ Loyola Indiana State @ UWGB Wright State @ Austin Peay Delaware @ Detroit Tennessee State @ Cleveland State Youngstown State @ Canisus

I still want Evansville. I wouldn't mind Eastern Kentucky or Valpraiso, but I would love to see us play Evansville.

Valparaiso and Evansville are too weak by RPI....probably will not happen. Wright State is the 30th best road team by RPI, while Valparaiso is 36th and Evansville is 43rd for home teams. Eastern Kentucky is possible...they're 29th.
