Ok, I've figured out who I'll be rooting for this week. First, I'll root for my WSU Raiders to win both games........actually I'll take a split.
I find myself suddenly a huge CSU fan. If CSU can knock off both UIC & GB at home that will help us tremendously.
A UWM home win over Detroit will mean the best the Titans can do is finish 8-8.
Do the Penguins have just one more win in them? It would be great if they could win at home against Loyola.
Our 2 biggest threats to take the 3 seed from us our Detroit and GB. Detroit has two brutal games, one on the road at Mil. and then at home vs Butler. I see Detroit finishing 8-8. GB has one game left at CSU, a Vikings win would knock them out of contention for the 3 seed. The best GB can finish is 8-8.
Maybe, and that is a HUGE maybe, we'll win both road games and lock up the 3 seed and make all the other games moot.

I agree with most that you've said Raiderfan, except one thing. Our two biggest threats to take 3rd from us are Detroit and not UWGB, but UIC. Even UWGB wins out, and we lose out, we'd win the tiebreaker because they got swept by Butler. We split. Now UIC, if Detroit loses at UWM, and we lose out, all UIC has to do is beat CSU and us at home and they would have 3rd because they swept us. So I'm a huge CSU and UWM fan this week.
Go Raiders, Beat Loyola!!!! Go Panthers, Beat Detroit!!!! Go Vikings, Beat UIC!!!!

Actually, I just read that our wins against UWM and Butler may not have to do anything about it. It may be if 2 or more teams end up tied, then they teake the combined record against each other, or something like that. I don't know exactly. But in other words, we wouldn't end up tp good if it is like that.

Go Raiders, Beat Loyola!!!! Go Panthers, Beat Detroit!!!! Go Vikings, Beat UIC!!!! UWGB still does have a shot at the #3 seed. Here's a post I made on the UWGB board: Actually, after crunching some numbers, UWGB does have an outside chance at the #3 seed still. It's a long shot, but if a lot goes right, UWGB receives the #3 seed. 1.) UWGB HAS TO WIN AGAINST CLEVELAND STATE. Forget everything else if they don't. 2.) Loyola must win both of their remaining games (vs. WSU, @ YSU). 3.) Wright State must lose both of their remaining games (@ Loyola, @ UIC). 4.) Detroit must lose one of their two remaining games (@ UWM, vs. Butler). [already done] Here's the theory behind all of this. There are a lot of splits in series this season, which makes things very interesting. UWGB's sweep over Loyola would help them out in any tie-breaker they are in involving Loyola. If you would like to hear some more exact numbers, contact me, but since it's a long shot, here's the summary. In a two-way tie between UWGB and WSU, WSU wins. In a three-way tie between UWGB, WSU, and Loyola, UWGB wins. In a four-way tie between UWGB, WSU, Detroit, and Loyola, UWGB wins. In a four-way tie between UWGB, WSU, UIC, and Loyola, UWGB wins. In a five-way tie between UWGB, WSU, Detroit, Loyola, and UIC, UWGB wins.

Wright State controls it's own destiny. We don't have to sweep both teams in Chicago. We only need 1 win to lock up third place. Forget about all of these tie breaker scenerios. We just need to take care of business.
