WSU still controls it's own destiny. If we beat UIC, we will finish in 3rd place. Saturday's game will really show me if this team has any heart or pride in themselves.

silky and big d, it looks to me like our game will decide 3rd seed. we win, we have it. if we lose, the detroit/butler game is huge. if udm wins, and the other two teams beat csu and ysu (should happen although we probably could not do it) then we have a 5 way tie, and i think we end up on the road in the first round.that will be a really sorry end to a really sorry season. if butler beats detroit, and they may be playing for 1st seed, so they will play hard, then it is and i think being swept by uic would kill us from getting the three, but at least we would get a home game. that would be not quite so sorry an ending to a still very, very sorry season.

Bottom line for WSU: They lose and there is no way they can get the #3 seed. Of course, if they lose, there is only one scenario where they get the #7 seed.

There may be only one but I bet WGB abd Loyola win and we lose. That leaves Detroit and Butler. I think there is a very good chance we will be a seven seed.

The team should just stay in Chicago - another UIC test.
