I agree BBJ, sounds like a great choice to me! I'm wondering who else will be on the "list" as well.........

BBJ, this guys reminds me of Bruce Pearl at Southern Ind. a couple of years ago.
He has several significant positives:
1. He IS a head coach and won't have to learn on the fly.
2. He is a proven winner.
3. He is a proven recruiter ( obviously since he wins ).
I would also add coach Marshall at Winthrop ( see above list)
Mick Cronin at Murray State, assuming he doesn't see it as a lateral move. We could offer him much better facilities and a higher ranked conference.
I want a HEAD COACH if at all possible.
Thanks for the info. BBJ!

Thanks for the links BBJ. He sound like the type of guy WSU should be going after. Do you know what type of system he runs. No matter who WSU hires, I hope we get back to an up-tempo game. I can't tell you how jealous I was of UWM the last few year under Pearl. I love teams that press you full court and run every chance they get. I am also a huge fan of the 3 pt game. Mid-major teams that can consistently knock down threes can compete with the big boys. It is a great equalizing force in college hoops.

This could be our guy. He was a finalist for UWM's job last year.

This guy sure does recruit alot of foreign players. His 15 man roster has 6 foreign players from Australia, Lithuania, and Africa. It also has 3-4 JUCOs on his roster.

He coached a professional team in Australia. Of course, he has a lot of contacts down under.
