Wright State hosted this kid at our elite camp and our coaches did not offer him at the time. Saying that he chose Loyola over us is simply not true.

Pure shooter and he's only averaging 10 a game? 50% shooter from 3? What's he shoot, like 6 attempts per game?
Not exactly stellar stats from someone on their way to playing Div I bball. Good luck to him, but I agree that the selection of Loyola over WSU was misstated and erroneous.

Good luck to him, but I agree that the selection of Loyola over WSU was misstated and erroneous. O'Leary played on a team with 6 seniors last year that was built around their star Justin Gant. He didn't get the number of touches he needed to put up bigger stats. He will this year. In fact the same can be said about our lone recruit. Roddy only averaged 10 points and 8 rebounds as a junior. His high school team is loaded with talent and Roddy has to play out of position in the post for them. I'm not worried about his high school stats. Having to play in the post last year is only going to make him a more physical player when he gets to WSU. WSU liked both O'Leary and Roddy enough to invite them to our elite camp. They ended up offering Roddy over him because Roddy has a more D1 ready body. O'Leary looks alot like Cooper Land going into his senior year of high school. If Loyola red-shirts him and get him into their weight program, they will have a pretty good player in a couple of years. I wish him and Loyola well. I am excited about the player we chose to offer at our camp. I think our coaches made the right call on what our team needed the most.

That's some serious bad news for UWM. Williams is a key member of their team. I wonder how Jeter will deal with it.
