Don't mean to "speculate", but I'm hoping CSU and Oakland get the 2-3 seed, and Valpo and UWGB play each other. I feel better about our chances, assuming it's a 6 or 7 seed, of getting past Oakland in the second round than any of the other three teams.

I don't know if it is funny or just sad that you think it matters who we play in the HL tournament.

I could say the same thing about fans like you that have sandbagged it for the year when we have our leading scorer/rebounder returning. But for the sake of discussion.... We lost at UWGB by double digits with JT, so probably want to avoid them. Also, you'd like to avoid the #1 seed until the last possible moment, which as it stands is Valpo. We had Oakland on the ropes wtih KG, and were leading in the second half here without Joe Thomasson (best remaining on ball defender) or JT, so yeah, I like our chances against them on a neutral court if we make it to the second round. We were leading CSU at home and Karen's FTs killed us, and played them well at their place for most of the game without JT, so I feel like we have a better chance against them on a neutral court than UWGB.

On one hand, you have a decent shot to win on any given night. Guy like that gives you the chance to score on more possessions. Without him, and well, you see what has happened. Get a clue...

Fans do not follow sports teams hoping they are average, and 8-7 is not average for a Wright State team by any stretch of the imagination. I think you are the one that needs to get a clue.

I never said I'm happy or we should be happy with average. But the team didn't suck with JT.

Valpo was able to knock of CSU last night at the Wolstein Center to secure the #1 seed in the Horizon League tournament. There's a slurry of seeds still open today. The winner of the Oakland - Green Bay game will be the 2 seed. If Green Bay wins, Oakland will be the 3, CSU will be 4. If Oakland wins, CSU will be 3, and Green Bay 4. Detroit has already locked up the 5 seed. The winner of the UIC-WSU game will be the 6 seed. If YSU beats Milwaukee, they will be the 7, and the loser of the UIC-WSU game will be the 8 seed. If YSU loses to Milwaukee, they will be the 8 seed, and the loser of our game will be the 7 seed.
(Some needs to open up the Horizon League Tournament thread =])
