I know the score doesn't look like it, but CSU dominated that game. Green Bay didn't crack double digits until halfway through the first half, and Sykes was non-existent in the first half. GB made a run at it to cut the lead from 18 to 6, but CSU stepped back on the pedal and really ran away with it. I said earlier in the season (when all the focus was on GB and Valpo) to watch out for CSU. But the top 4 is clearly established with 2 loses, while everybody else has at least 5.
I would also argue that CSU has the easiest path to the 1 seed, with only one tough road game left.

If anyone is alive, awake, or cares...YSU has a 10 point lead on GB with about 10 minutes to play, it's over on ESPN3

GB trailed by 10 with 8 minutes to play....but allowed only 2 points the next 7 minutes...With 45 seconds left YSU forced a steal, GB fouled, and sent DJ Cole to the line. He sunk the pair. Sykes came right down and hit a stop jump floater to put GB back up one....YSU had the ball out of bounds with 17 seconds left. Slocum drew a set play which went nowhere, and DJ cole missed a terrible shot at the buzzer.
GB 63 YSU 62

GB 59 Valpo 63
CSU 65 Detroit 66 Apparently CSU had it in the bag, and gave it away at the end. Didn't catch the game.
Valpo moves into sole possession of 1st place, but finishes with 3 of 4 on the road. @umw @udm @csu. A lot to be determined. Good possibility that last game on Friday the 27th will be for the Horizon League marbles. Valpo beat CSU at the ARC. However, Valpo skated by Detroit by only 8 at home, and could face a tough test at Calihan hall on the 25th. Green Bay plays CSU next weekend, so the loser of the game is likely out of the league race. FWIW Valpo and GB split the season series.

YSU almost knocking off UWGB and Detroit beating CSU further go to show how wide-open this league is, even with the difference between the top and bottom teams in the standings. I just hope that we can scratch out 2-3 more regular season wins at this point because like others have said, with our guys back this team has a hell of a chance to make noise in the HL tourney.

Valpo 62 Milwaukee 55
Valpo was down at the half, but skated by the Panthers who led almost the entire way. Valpo maintains their one game lead in conference play. Valpo controls their own destiny, but finished @detroit and @csu, so anything can happen.

Detroit 78 Oakland 83
Oakland keeps pace, and is still in a good position to strike for the 2 seed. Caught the last 15 minutes of the game, the Orena was rocking with rival Detroit in the house.

That's good news for us..Still tied with UIC with a small chance of finishing the season 2-0, and not playing on the road.
