A Raider fan posted a comment on a thread on Facebook that the admission to the exhibition game tomorrow night is free. I wasn't aware of that. Has that information been disseminated somewhere by the Athletic Department?

BBJ, they might have mentioned it last night at the women's basketball exhibition. Last night was also free and box office wasn't open and they didn't have anyone to scan for tickets even if you had one with season ticket package.
I know if you click on the game at NUTTER CENTER EVENTS & TICKETS it will say it is free admission ( not sure if they'll have anyone looking for parking passes ).

Athletic Dept sent an email about the exhibition being free last night and tomorrow to season ticket holders. I haven't seen that information anywhere for the general public though if they were looking to get people in the building.

Well, I just found the answer to my question. Yes, its free for everyone.
Logo-email Friday, November 3rd Wright State Men's Basketball Vs. Wayne State (NE) (Exhibition) Game Time: 7 pm Gates Open: 6 pm Parking: All season ticket holders will have an exhibition parking ticket in their season ticket books. Please put parking ticket on dash to enter your specific parking lot. Seating : Season ticket holders may bring their exhibition tickets with them. This is a free entry event, so we will not be scanning tickets. All season ticket holders have priority to their regular season seats and ushers will be aware and around to assist.
*The exhibition game is free entry for everyone. We will not be scanning tickets for entry for this game only.

Sounds like the ticket might be helpful if you try to kick someone out of your seats...of course, if your name is on your seat then that might work, too.
Still doesn't explain what if anything concerning free admission was conveyed to the general public.

I asked someone in the athletic office yesterday whether students got two free tickets to the exhibition game just like the rest of the games and was told no tickets needed, as others have said here. I had no idea about that until I asked. Students have not received any emails or anything.

As a side note: I see the OSU coach has said he's willing to play games vs. Ohio's better programs. I'm not putting WSU up in that category (yet), but possibly that is something where Wright State can work ourselves into a MTE where we get to play UC, X, OSU as part of their 4th game. There was a recent media article related to the "top programs" in Ohio playing a regular season match-up similar to Indiana's cross-road classic. That article along with info I've gathered wouldn't be an MTE. Part of the issue is the logistics...where to play the games. Presumably rotating between a "neutral" site in Cincy (U.S. Bank Arena) and a "neutral" site in Columbus (Nationwide). There would be an expense to those neutral sites...a shared expense. I'm wondering if Bob Grant is in his office figuring other ways to be crass to 18-22 year-old young women and men on the swimming teams or using his grey matter to be creative to HELP WSU athletics and the University. If that series were to come to fruition the Nutter Center would be a true neutral site and geographically centered. Allow the "Ohio Series" to be played rent free...the only requirement is WSU gets one home game and one away game each year from Ohio's top 4.
