Such a hard loss. Really thought we were gonna pull this one out. We NEED to win these games against good conferences, could definitely use the extra exposure!!! Grr. Here's hoping we can rock the league this year

If we can get anything close to the 27 pts & 16 rebounds like the Miami game from the combination of Mpondo, Darling, Land, and Pacher I like our chances tonight. We know that our three Sr guards will score but the question is can we get any production from our bigs! If Mpondo and Darling can build on the Miami game we will only get better as the season unfolds. Darling has been injured most of the season so maybe a healthy Cole will be just what the doctor ordered to really get us going. Coach Donlon seems to be getting our defensive in order so that is another factor that appears to be pointing us in the right direction. We only have one road win this year ( yea I know we blew the Richmond game, up 5 with 5minutes to play ) but we still haven't proved that we can produce away from the Nutter Center so heading into league play a road win at Charlotte would do wonders for the teams confidence. Agreed. Someone either on here or another post said that if Tabler is hot, we'll walk with a W. I agree with that for the most part, but I swear even with all the talent that our sr. guards have, vaughn is the most reliable, with n'gai up next and then tabler in 3rd (just my opinion.) N'gai can almost always be counted on for the driving force paint points (the little that we get), although vaughn has been aggressive recently also. The Raiders always have me on my toes just about every game, not knowing what to expect from anyone...guess it just makes for good college ball!!

I have no idea what to think about this Charlotte team now, taking into consideration this recent upset at Tenn. Charlotte's RPI currently sits at 241, and looking at their sched the only teams that sort of jump out to me (other than Tenn) is George Mason given their recent Tourny appearances, Winthrop and Davidson, only 1 of 3 being a W for them (Winthrop) and the other 2 losses by +10.

[quote Thanks. I've been an active member over at RRB for years, (speraiderfan), but figured I should finally join the party here @ Raider Nation. It was getting mighty lonely over there![/quote]
Unfortunately that seems to be the case. I still frequent RRBall several times a day, but these days it seems like Raider Nation is the place to be!

What factors into a "Coach's Decison"? It's not a disciplinary issue is it?

I will DEFINITELY be there (with a bunch of miami family). Reading some comments on this thread though, I'm a little concerned and it sounds like most of us are!! We took down Oakland in the NC, we need to make sure Miami is CAKE
