From ranking of every Div I coach. He coached on Ed Schilling's staff.
301. Otis Hughley Jr. (Alabama A&M) (Last year: 352) Overall record: 15-18 Hughley has been a basketball coach for three decades and he’s quite literally coached all over the place. He’s been a high school coach in Alabama, a collegiate assistant at several schools, and been on a few NBA staffs. He spent several years overseas as national coaches, most recently coaching Nigeria’s women’s team after a few years in China. Hughley took over at Alabama A&M last season and came out of it with a very solid start, 15 wins and a 5th place finish in the SWAC.

Brad Brownell's 11-1 Clemson team (now 11-2) just gave up 60 points in the second half to Miami. So I guess its not just our current coach...

Turned on ESPN+ a couple of nights ago to catch a NBA G-League game between the Memphis Hustle and the Indiana Mad Ants. Wright States Loudon Love plays for the Memphis Hustle. Love has played in 13 games this year, averaging 19.1 minutes a game, scoring 7.8 points per contest. Was really fun watching Love on the court, he is so smooth, he looked very confident and plays like he belongs on the court with some of the best players in the country.

Brad Brownell/Billy Donlon's Clemson Tigers advance to the Elite 8 What I think is funny about this situation is that neither did great as a head coach on their own, but together they are a very good coaching duo. Donlon is a great defensive coach and Brownell was good at managing the offense and team. I think the same thing of Nagy and Cooley. Nagy was not quite the same when Brian Cooley left. Maybe SUI should consider spending a lot of monty on an assistant and bring Cooley on there too. He was Nagy's main defensive guy and ran the practices, and that's what I think Nagy was missing since he left. I am sure Clemson is glad they spent the money to bring on Billy Donlon as an assistant, so he would give up head coaching. The result is their NCAA win tonight.
