So by the Transitive Property of Basketball, IUPUI is better than Oakland. Huh. And we are better than IUPUI so that makes us better than Oakland too right? By the Transitive Property of Sport, of course!

Not a good start for our former conference brethren, Valpo. They are 0-3 in MVC play and just look like a bad team.
Have fun in the cellar, boys!

After a surprisingly impressive start to conference play, Green Bay has now lost to IUPUI and now those mighty Vikings of Cleveland State. NKU and Wright State sit atop the league in 1st. NKU travels to the blacktop that isn't actually black to take on the Grizz Friday night while we play Detroit. Sole owners of 1st place come Saturday morning? We'll find out in 26 hours.

UIC beats IUPUI 70-65 and Dikembe Dixon finally did something, scoring 19 points. But it was against IUPUI so does it really count?

They acted like they were Butler while in the HL without actually achieving anything. They never won an NCAA game while in the HL and they constantly compared themselves to a team that went to back to back final fours. I hope their program falls to the cellar in the MVC and never recovers.

They're just arrogant And disillusioned like some of the WSU Fans that "think" the HL is actually a decent league in the universe of D I Hoops.

I call bs. No WSU fan has stated or even implied that the HL is currently a decent conference.

Is it possible for both teams in a game to lose?...that would be great.
Oakland is up on NKU 47-41 at half.

It remains to be seen if both teams can lose the same game but our luck didn't pan out in this one as NKU beats OU 87-83. Interesting note, that is NKU's first true road win this year. But I do believe that due to our overall record at 11-5 compared to NKU's 10-5, WSU is still the first place team in the league!

What is the tie-breaker if two teams have an equivalent conference record and neither of those teams swept the series against each other at the end of the season?
