If we have the same conference record and split the head to head, then you look at the records against the next best finisher, starting with the 3rd place team on down until someone has a win where the other team has a loss.

Wow! So after upsetting Oakland to start league play, Green Bay has given up three straight to Cleveland State, IUPUI, and Youngstown State. YSU is also tied for first place at 3-0. Um...

It may have taken longer than he would have liked, but I've gotta give a shout out to Brad Brownell down in Clemson. He's finally recruited himself some top talent guards, and is one of only 5 teams in the country with one loss. After cracking the AP top 25 last week, the Tigers are up to 19th today and are poised to make a strong run at the ACC. The whole ACC looks beatable this season, as UNC and Duke have both fallen early. It's nice to see a former WSU coach succeeding with his (not so) new school.

I'm getting off point but Clemson is also the overwhelming favorite at this point to sign all-everything recruit Zion Williamson. 2nd ranked HS player in the country. Obviously would be an unreal get for Brownell.

Not sure how much this really matters but Georgia Tech beat #18 Miami (FL) at home last week 64-54. They are also comfortably beating a good Notre Dame 30-20 at the half. This game is on ESPN U. This could turn into a pretty good road win by the end of the year and is really going to help out our RPI.

IUPUI beat Milwaukee 72-71 on a buzzer beater and by buzzer beater I mean there was less than .1 seconds left when the ball left the hand. Exciting finish for the 3 IUPUI fans who attended!

Detroit ends their losing streak with a .3 second shot for the 85-84 win over Cleveland State.

If you're interested, there are 3 league games going on. I'm tuned in to a tight one in Calihan. It's been back and forth all night between the Titans and Penguins. Hoping for quadruple OT

Best game of the night was in Detroit. The Titans pulled away very late to knock off Youngstown and deal the Penguins their second conference loss. Not that we expect them up at the top very long, but we've got a two game lead on the 3rd place Penguins.
Cleveland State hung tough in the first half, but Kampe got his Griz straightened out at half and coasted in the second.
IUPUI and Green Bay played tight early, but separated as it went. Interesting that the newcomers swept the Wisconsin teams in their first go around. More interesting is that Green Bay is the first league team to drop 5 league games. Not sure anybody thought that was going to happen.

Georgia Tech just beat Pittsburgh 69-54. Should help RPI.
