UC would be a good match up for us.

Would love to see a UC matchup even though realistically I would expect any of those 3 to give us a huge ass whooping.

I think the only thing that could bother us is having a 7 man rotation compared to Duke having a bench full of 5 and 4 stars.

As of 3-10, Palm has WSU as a 14 seed against Tennessee in Nashville

As of 3-10, Palm has WSU as a 14 seed against Tennessee in Nashville I would still expect them to beat us fairly easily, but this is definitely the most favorable outcome for us, IMO

Tennessee is a team we'd stand a chance against. Not thrilled to possibly play them basically at home, but it is what it is. That's a game we could certainly hang around in, unlike Purdue.

air strike, reading that brings back nightmarish visions of playing Indiana in Indianapolis in 1993.

Whether that translates or not, I don't know. Then again, most of the SEC does as well. I'd take that matchup though. Perhaps the main reason I would is because I live 2hrs east of Nashville now.

Palm updated his bracket a little over an hour ago. He Kept WSU a #14 seed, but now playing in Dallas...going up against Bobby Thuggins and his West Virginia crew.

I don't care who our Raiders play as long as it's not Purdue. That team is a nightmare matchup. Haas is 7'2" and his backup is 7'3". Big Lou is a stud but these 2 giants will give him fits.

But as you'd agree it's an accomplishment to get there. No matter who we play, we will have an uphill battle. Hopefully the team won't have home court advantage too. Regardless of the opponent, I'd just like us to play somewhere in driving distance so I can go!

I'm not sure who a good match up would be for Wright State. I'd kind of like to see UC...I have two brothers who went there as well as my father. Would be fun as a family to kind of root against them! But I grew up rooting for UC so I want them to do well also. Their defense is so good though...not going to be fun to face.
I feel like this team has a better chance than the 2007 team for some reason. Maybe it's Nagy's experience in the NCAA tournament as a coach. Most likely they'll lose by 10-20 points, but who knows. These teams aren't going to quite know how to guard Loudon Love. I think what could really hurt Wright State's chances is Love getting in foul trouble Maybe Cole Gentry heats back up. They may not put so much attention on Benzinger as conference teams. Sometimes those conference teams are harder to play because they know you so well even though they aren't as talented as the teams in the tournament.

We can’t afford to get down early in a game. We know this though, if we hit our 3’s we are going to be tough to beat. Hitting free throws and limiting turnovers is a must. No telegraphed passes.
If you think about it this team has defended against the best shooting 3 pointer shooter in the NCAA against Oakland. This might be our best perimeter defensive team in a while. Parker will have a stage now for his Emmy performances in the lane. We just can’t get into foul trouble or it will be over quickly.

Looking at the projections and RPI, it appears we are a solid on the 14 line.
We've got a q1 win and a better RPI than almost everyone below us. I don't think we'll jump to the 13 line, but our Q1 win stands out among dozens of teams without one. So it's not impossible.
The good news is we won't see Purdue, they seem to be a consensus 2. I think we match up well against Auburn or Tennessee, but regionally I wouldn't be surprised to be playing UofM or MSU. I can't imagine MSU fans would want that. and I certainly don't want to play UofM.
I hope Raider nation shows up for the party and there's some video somewhere of all the fun.
