The Raiders lost 10-8 to YSU and left the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth. These loses to crappy teams are maddening. The Raiders just can't seem to sweep any HL teams. Raidergang can still make a run and get to Omaha, but I would feel a lot better if they would sweep a few of the HL series. wsuraiders.com/sidearmstats/baseball/summary

We have to win the HL to get to the Regionals. An at-large is out of the question with what is left on the Raiders schedule.

We're the only team in the league with a winning record, and the rest of the league has 69 losses. It certainly is frustrating to see this squad losing to teams they should beat, but we've got to have better starting pitching. 8 runs is typically enough to win college ballgames.
Zane Collins gave up 7 runs in 3 innings today, that's not good enough. The bullpen gave up 1 the rest of the way. Riley Perich gave up 4 in in 3.2 innings to Xavier earlier in the week. Again, not good enough.
Our starters should be performing better, and they haven't been as reliable as we've been accustomed to the last few years. Hopefully it will come around. Until then, we're going to have to outslug teams, and that certainly leaves us vulnerable.

Worst loss in......5 years? If the Raiders make it to a regional, they’ll own the worst loss of the entire 64 team field...and are in danger of having more of the same with the poor teams at the bottom of the HL left on the schedule.

Baseball jumps out to an early 4-0 lead plating 2 runs in each of the first two innings.

Here is an interesting stat about the Raiders. Wright State at this point has a winning record in all the Quads of the RPI that Raidergang has played against. Quad 1 -- 5-4 Quad 2 -- 0-0 Quad 3 -- 3-2 Quad 4 -- 11-2 That first Quad is amazing. If you don't know what the heck a Quad is, you can learn more here: warrennolan.com/baseball/2019/rpi-live#raidergang
