Game has been changed to Tuesday, 7pm, ESPNU. They must have realized there's a story line they can drag out to fill airtime. Statistically, our teams match up pretty well in almost every category. The issue with that, though, is they're doing it in the ACC. We'll have to hit our shots from outside to let Lou take on their big bruiser down low. We weren't finding the basket in the HL championship. Hopefully the Law of Averages kicks in and we get our shots to fall. It will be a challenge, though, with the extension of the three point line. Hopefully we've prepped the new rules better than they have. There are plenty of areas for players and coaches to get confused in the heat of the moment in situations like this. Let's see if being off the bubble this week has helped us with that. We'll need Parker to have a streak of good plays to energize the team like he did vs. NKU at the Nutt House. Malachai will also be key in this. Cole gives up five inches or more to their entire team, so they'll be pressuring him all night.

Supposedly with the lane 4 feet wider it will make the game less physical. I don’t know if that will be against us or for us. Three second calls might be called more so less camping out in the lane. The new 20 second rule on the offensive rebounding will be better for a good rebounding team that likes to run the clock down or slow the game down.

ESPN is giving us an 8.8% chance of winning. I kinda like this for some reason. Nothing yet from Vegas.
Another thought on the wider key: Parker's ability to take charges might be magnified even more if their big guys need to take an extra step to get to the basket. My initial concerns were on offense, but they're playing by the same rules. Parker in particular has a ton of potential to get them into foul trouble early with good whistles.

Game has been changed to Tuesday, 7pm, ESPNU. Any particular reason why the game time and date was changed? My understanding is that Furman/Wichita State had a conflict for hosting a game between the two of them on Tuesday. So they moved Clemson into their spot. The 2 schools are nearby each other in South Carolina, so getting the ESPN crews switched from Furman (Greenville, SC) to Clemson was probably not a big deal.

They have an active message board, but I am yet to see a poster realize that BB was our former coach. There's a little doom and gloom and a LOT of Brownell haters on that board. They're also worried about the 3-point and lane rules. Their big guy, #14 Elijah Thomas, gets in a lot of foul trouble.

It looks like there are a few Clemson fans over there pulling info from our board. To them I say "hello!"
The moderators might get on me about this, but to clear up confusion on your board and answer the question you and every other postseason opponent ever asks: We are called the Raiders, but our mascot was changed from a viking to a wolf a number of years ago. It is a very heated topic among fans that's really just best not to think about/discuss/acknowledge. It's just the way of things.
Also, we're in Dayton, Ohio; not Kittyhawk, NC
