I believe that is Ash's third steal, breakaway, and missed layup, which has led to 6 points in transition for UIC.

I'd take Love to the quiet locker room starting the next time out and just make him do deep breathing exercises to calm down before sending him back in.
He's more harm than good for WSU at this point.

This feels like the 3 conference losses (and Detroit). Hopefully this ends like Detroit and not the 3 losses.
Long way to go but hard to see WSU winning unless they turn things way around.

UIC looks like the one seed and we look like an eight seed. We aren't running our offense sets because Love can't get a thing going. Again, if we made our FTs we'd be in the game, but this has been an old fashioned booty whopping so far.
Still plenty of time to get back in, but not sure how we do it with Love in a funk. So far, this is an NIT bound team. Hopefully we can get it back to single digits and flip the script at the half.

I'm a little frustrated that Nagy appears to be showing no emotion to the players, and we're going to the locker room without even using the use it or lose it time out. Mind blowingly stupid not to use it, because you can't take it with you.

Top offense in the country. 26 points at half. Barring a miracle WSU is heading to the NIT in what would go down as one of the most disappointing losses in program history.

We’re playing with the weight of the world on our shoulders. They’re playing so tight. UIC is playing like it has nothing to lose and it shows. Nagy knows this and is why he’s not yelling at his guys.
We’ve dug ourselves quite the hole.
