Looks like they are limiting these tickets to the corner(s)? by the student section. I'm not for sure, but that's the only place I could seem to get the ticket selector to show me tickets for the promo. I just went on looking to get tickets for some of my extended family. Lucked out to get tickets in the row right behind the row my season tickets are in which is in 220, so they appear to not be limited to the corner sections. Although, I can't seem to see how to view the promo seats on the seating map. Either way, this should be helping. What they really need to do is something for the students. We need the students from the NKU game, and not the Oakland game. |

I saw a sponsored post on my facebook feed so they are putting some money into advertising the game too - not just sharing on the University pages that fans already follow.

I don’t know why but UIC always seems to give us fits. Hope this game breaks that trend and we come out and put a hurting on them.

The main games I’m worried about finishing out the regular season is the NKU game and this game. UIC always gives Lou fits and when Lou struggles the rest of the team does too.

In January, up in Chicago, UIC started:
Michael Diggins (6'8")
Jordan Blount (6'8")
Braelen Bridges (6'10")
The 3 combined for 48 Points on 21/33 (64%) shooting.
Hoping we see Love & Basile on the court at the same time in stretches throughout this game.

In January, up in Chicago, UIC started: Michael Diggins (6'8") Jordan Blount (6'8") Braelen Bridges (6'10") The 3 combined for 48 Points on 21/33 (64%) shooting. Hoping we see Love & Basile on the court at the same time in stretches throughout this game. I agree that Love & Basile should be on the court during this game at the same time. UIC's ammo for the past three wins against us is to get Loudon away from the bucket on defense and we will need to prepare for it. Blount will be up against Loudon with our current lineup. Blount shoots threes which moves Loudon away from the the bucket and rebounding. We need to have height inside to keep them off the glass and Grant would help out there. |

Maybe the reverse keep Basile on the 3 point line guarding Blount. Keep Love our leading rebounder at the glass. The key for them to play defense on the 3 point line is just staying put with a hand up in their face. Leaving your feet is begging for three free throws by falling for the fake and shoot. We don’t need any cheap fouls for foul trouble early Maybe this is the team we need to play some zone against. That would be a surprise for any team we play.

We can switch it up on them and may get them confused. Don’t know if our team knows how to play zone. I did notice that we are playing more switch man to man at times. That may help with keeping them contained if we have height on the floor. |

Drop you are very right about that. He is the threat outside and plus he rebounds pretty good . I have been noticing he is the one we bring in when we have less than 30 seconds to go in the half and we have the ball. He is the go to secret weapon right before half time.

Agree with you guys, just hope Coach sees it that way. His playing time keeps going down in second half play over the past few games. He is just a pure shooter and when he gets hot he can score points in a hurry. |

There doesn't seem to be much excitement for this game. Looking at Ticketmaster, sales look down and this board is not very active. Sort of surprising considering its a nationally televised game and every game is important at this point.

I'm excited and am making the 5 hour drive to help send these seniors off the right way this weekend. The whole losing 3 straight to UIC thing is a bit of a worry, but the ticketmaster situation certainly doesn't have me excited. 5 dollar tickets with a 5 dollar food voucher and a free tshirt...what else does Bob Grant need to do to get people to this game? Last weekend to see our seniors at home this weekend... hopefully there's a late surge or a good number of walkups, but I don't have any evidence to back up those hopes. |

I doubt many people wanted to buy tickets too far in advance not knowing what the weather was going to be like on Friday. Unfortunately our attendance lives and dies by walk up game day sales most games. In regards to the board, I don’t know what you are talking about. We don’t play UIC until tomorrow. There is already 30 posts in this game thread and it’s been viewed almost 3000 times. That’s more thread views than many of our previous games got even after the games were played. |
