Raiders magic number to clinch the #1 seed is 2. Any mix of WSU wins or NKU losses will do. Magic number to win the league outright is 3.
The UIC win over NKU really helps us out in tiebreakers such that we have both lost to GB and UIC. NKU has the Detroit loss that we don't, but they are so far down the standings that it will never come to mattering because of the YSU games upcoming, which, if there's a YSU win, would be the deciding tiebreaker game (if it was necessary).
I'm glad we get YSU first. They're more likely to be angrier and hungrier for a win on senior day after a loss on Thursday, so I'd rather deal that loss than have to play a scrappier team Saturday.
Winning these next two games makes the road game at NKU meaningless for postseason seeding and for an outright championship, which is exactly what we want.
Except...Beeghly has been very cruel to us in the past. We need to use today's momentum to carry us Thursday night.

Yea it'd be nice to be able to go down to NKU with the top seed wrapped up already. This weekend will be huge for us, hope we can get that first W on Thursday and seal the deal Saturday

Magic number to win the league outright is 2. Two Raider wins and we're up 2 games with one to play (NKU). Raiders magic number to clinch the #1 seed is 2. Any mix of WSU wins or NKU losses will do. I shouldn't post from my phone so much.

Winning out could get a 12 seed with some help form other teams that could possibly fall off the rails. When we get a lead in these games it is imperative to keep hammering down the basketball through the basket.

The others on the 12 and 13 line are all AQ teams who are projected to win their conference tournaments. There is one play in game on the 12 line for Utah St and East Tennessee St who Lundari says are in whether or not they win their league tournament. All of that to say, there is certainly a ton of opportunity for non-front runners to take MM tournaments which could help push to a 12 spot, but I'm not holding my breath. It's not likely we are fixing to move back if we win out, given how many other teams are also taking up those spots. Vermont, Furman, Stephen F. Austin, and North Texas are all in our same circle of teams fighting for 12/13s by winning out.

The production quality of this game sucks. Is some high school kid running one of their cameras.
