Any news on Brandon Noel? Did he have surgery? I’m pretty sure he had surgery in the fall right after the injury and has been rehabbing his knee since then. He’s on the bench for home games and is walking without crutches now. Don’t know much more beyond that.

Away games: 1 Wright State (15-4) +20.7 I did a quick scan of other HL teams going back to 2006 and this WSU has far and away the highest average winning margin. Obviously the quality of the conference is not nearly the same, but still interesting to see. Also, surprisingly to some, this team's 3 pt shooting percentage is actually higher than Nagy's first couple teams that had Grant B. and also about the same as last year. And I don't think there is noted marksmen like Wampler or Grant B.

I didn't start following Raider Basketball until they moved into the Nutter Center, even though I was aware of their success at the DII level. But I have been a basketball junkie since the early 60's, and I can't remember any team, with the exception of UCLA, just crushing their opponents like this team has. A 10 point win seems like a nail biter, and 25 points wins are the norm. If they stay focused and take care of the basketball, which they have been doing lately, winning the NCAA Auto bid and getting a 12-13 seed is plausible if not likely. Winning a game or 2 in the Big Dance would be awsome!

What an overall positive article. It was nice to see them callout how nobody transferred after last year (only 7 schools in the whole country!) as well as how awesome the players who left two years ago are doing. Imagine if Potter and Smith were on this team... I don't see Love coming back and I am sad that I've seen my last game in person of him at WSU. At least the final game I saw was at NKU when Wright State clinched their first outright regular season championship ever in 2020. I'll always remember that night.

WSU basketball has been a bright spot over a tough winter. My biggest regret about this season is not being in person to support this team. If there has ever been a WSU team that deserved a great sendoff to the home schedule it is this team.
Hoping for 4 regular season wins and a Cleveland State slipup to get a share of the conference title!

I was just playing around on the NCAA Stats website and discovered that we currently lead the nation in defensive rebounding per game with 30.89. We are also #1 in total rebounds per game with 42.79. We are third nationally in personal fouls per game with 12.8.
As far as individual stats, nationally:
* Love is 4th in total rebounds with 194 * Love is 8th in double doubles with 9 * Basile is 11th in field goal percentage at 62.5% * Love is 11th in offensive rebounds per game with 3.63 * Love is 18th in rebounds per game with 10.2 * Love is 22nd in total field goals made with 127
This is truly a special team with some gifted players.
