My ESPN app is showing today’s game with Vanderbilt as postponed. Any information on this? This weekend's games were all cancelled. It's hard to play baseball when there is 2 feet of snow on the field. |

WSU Raidergang statement: "We're still waiting for the first pitch of the season. The series against Vanderbilt will now tentatively begin on Sunday afternoon in Nashville. Game times for the series will be determined after evaluating field conditions."

The SEC is turning out to be a tough nut to crack for the Raiders. We do this every year. Since we can't play at home in February, we go on the road, get optimistic about a good showing, but end up getting smacked around 90% of the time. I don't know how "getting bought" in baseball works, and if it is a necessary thing for our program to do, then we have to keep doing it; just wish we could play these SEC teams at the top of our game, not in the first two weekends of the season. |
