The Raiders RPI is 110. Since Wright State has no more out-of-conference games I would expect our RPI to hover around 100. That means at best a three seed in the Regionals and probably a four seed. If the Raiders could add a few non-conference games then it is a different story.

Beating the crap out of a HL team is a lot easier than beating an SEC team

Another Raider win in the first game of today's DH.!
A sixth-inning two-run single from Sammy Sass is the difference, with Bradley Brehmer going the distance with six Ks.
Wright State 2, Youngstown State 1

Yep, a good day for the Raiders!
The Raiders score in 7 of their 8 at-bats on the way to the second win of the day.

Wright State is at 54 in the RPI, Ohio State 46, and Kent State is 57. Those are the three best programs in Ohio.

UIC hosted Milwaukee for four over the weekend and split the series. Raiders have jumped out to a commanding league lead, but are in Chicago for four this weekend, and on the road for 3 of their next 4 series. horizonleague.org/standings.aspx?standings=62

Wright State is now up to 50 in the RPI. This means we are now a Quad 1 team. If we could stay in Quad 1, that means the Raiders are an RPI builder or a good win and an acceptable loss for teams that play them.

I'll be darned if I can figure this RPI thing for baseball out, but the Raiders moved up to 46th based upon what other schools are doing. If the Raiders can get inside 40, then an at-large becomes a possibility. However, I find it hard to believe that a final RPI of under 40 is attainable.
Alabama is 13 Vandy is 26
Both should go up as they get deeper into conference play.
Ohio State is 38 and that should go up too if they keep winning. Kent State is 53 Xavier is 62
YSU 183 the next closest HL team.
WSU, Kent State, and Ohio State are the three best programs in Ohio and usually pretty close to each other in the RPI.

You know runt, I am sure weather is an issue early in the season but I wonder if we have tried to get Kent state and osu on our schedule on a regular basis. Seems like all three could benefit:

Raiders were supposed to play OSU here at Nischwitz last year on March 17, but we all know what happened right before that.
