Yeah, that's a series we should have won, if not swept. Every year we talk about why we're always cast as a 4 in the regionals, and series like this one are the reason. Just no reason to lose series to anyone in this league.

NKU has an RPI of 120. #RaiderGangs RPI is a miserable 173. NKU (6-12) took one of three from Mississippi State and beat Xavier. Those are their two signature wins.

Caught Friday's game and part of today's. Offense was unrelenting and really blew the whole series wide open.

The Joe Nuxhall Classic returns on Wednesday! 🆚 Miami (OH) ⏰ 2 p.m. 📍 Cincinnati, OH UC Marge Schott Stadium or whatever the new PC name is. 📊 bit.ly/389WT5tWright State (8-12) has an RPI of 121 which would put it at the top of MAC if #RaiderGang was in that conference. Wright State leads the series which started in 1976 25-23. Miami (8-13) has an RPI of 260. |

#RaiderGang is up 8-1 in the bottom of the 2nd inning. As I look at the lineup today it is a young line up. Two freshmen, four sophomore, two juniors and one senior. Future looks bright. WSU is the visiting team.
Update: With one out in the bottom of the 2nd it is now 8-5. No lead is safe with this Raider pitching staff.

Can't blow 7 run leads to bad teams.
Seems like we've got the offense to hang with most of the decent programs around, but our pitching has been downright awful so far. We should still runaway with the league, but we'll get a bad regional draw and be the fourth team.

The Mastodons started out 1-16, they are now 4-19. Their RPI is almost as bad at Miami's at 256. Our #RaiderGang RPI is at a poor 129.
BTW..Wright State is projected by Warren Nolan to finish with a record of 23-28 with an RPI of 131.
