Lundari dropped CSU out of the bracket this morning (obviously). He had the Vikings playing in the first four in Dayton. Lundari keeps the top seeded team in the bracket, so NKU is in at 16 for now, playing Kansas (not in the play-in). Not saying I wouldn't love the ability for our guys to play in a largely biased home crowd in a play-in game, but I'm guessing that they'd keep us out of that simply for the fact of proximity. Regardless, the HL champ seems destined for a 16 seed thanks to our atrocious league NET, but with some upsets in other conference championships, nothing is certain, except for we have a real chance for some revenge tonight. We just saw one team try to beat us for a third time and frankly, we owned that game from tip to horn. Love to see the same tonight (though I'm not expecting it).

Tonight's game, like last night's game, will all come down to which Raider's team shows up. If we play timid against their zone and settle for too many 3s, we are going to struggle. If we play aggressive and find a way to work the ball inside and play big boy basketball, I like our chances. We just need to have a balanced attack. Last night we played our best game on both ends of the court for an entire 40 minutes. We need that same effort tonight. We might be favored on the betting sites, but our boys know NKU swept us in the regular season. NKU is confident and they play cocky. We should be motivated for some payback. We should be motivated to go dancing. We need everyone to show up tonight and that includes some production from a couple of guys off the bench.

I was cheering so loud at the start of last night's game because I knew how important a good start was. And WSU delivered. We don't need to be up 10 to have a good start but it I'll be looking how the offense is moving and how the game "feels." Can't wait for tonight. My family and I will be there!

If the Raiders can have the effort on offensive and defensive ends tonight at the same level as last night hey will win. Northern Kentucky is 1.5 point favorite.

DJ Carstensen, Courtney Green, and Mike Kitts are the officials tonight. Carstensen (white bald guy) and Green (darker skin, short hair) have been doing Big10 games as well as multiple NCAA tournament games for the better part of a decade. Mike Kitts Jr. is the son of hall of fame caliber official Mike Kitts Sr.
All that to say, officiating shouldn't be an issue tonight. I'm glad the league sent "usual suspects" Chad Barlow and Ed Young home and brought in the heavy hitters tonight.

Braun really seems to have a hard time holding onto the ball under the basket.
