This is a game they should easily win but also can be a dangerous game. The coaches need to keep them focused on winning and not being over confident. Keep focus on rebounding and decrease the turn overs.

Detroit is bad. I watched them play Robert Morris on Saturday ( 2 hours of my life I’ll never get back). One reason I watched is because I’ve never seen a team play that was 0 - 23. They are now 0 - 24.. Mike Davis has given up. With all that being said there message board is still very active. It’s worth a click and a reed

Interesting that most of the comments on their message board are not about the team, players, or games -- but are focused on reasons for how they got this bad, who should be fired to turn it around, and an odd lengthy side discussion on how adding "Mercy" to their name is the real reason their teams have all fallen off a cliff. We and every other board can relate to sometimes having discussions about should the coach or AD be fired, but the rest just seems strange.

Need to win this in the 1st half, rest starters and get the bench more playing time.

In addition to being winless, Detroit has only outscored one opponent in the 1st half this season (Ball State). Any update on Welage? He played a couple minutes at NKU, would be nice to see him get 15+ in this game if he's healthy.

We are 18.5 point favorite. The starting 5 need to play together and not much one player wanting try to take over the game. This team can be very efficient with team play. Would like to see assist on 70% of field goals. I do like to see Tanner come off the bench. He played more under control and didn't try to takeover the game but let the game come to him.

This thread is busier than I expected based on the quality of the game...

Carter, Woods and Brown looked good in there together. Sure hope we can hang on to those guys. Great ball movement and decision making, with more aggression on the defensive end.
Gotta be tough for UDM players and even coaches to find motivation at this point. I’m sure they’ll be thankful when this season mercifully comes to an end.

Classic. We give up an easy layup with seconds to go in the half. We had a use or lose time and we could have stopped the clock and got a shot. But Nagy was already walking down the "tunnel" and the last seconds just run out. It was more important for him to make a point about how disgusted he was with the defensive effort than it was to bother coaching the last 4 seconds of the half.
Not my coach.

Typical WSU mid game meltdown. Up 8. How is it that so many players have career games against us.

I was afraid my post would age poorly. Now I feel bad for holding back on my criticism. If we lose by two points I quit.
