Games kick off tonight, Vegas (Draftkings) agrees with me that Youngstown is the favorite - and they consider it a 3-horse race YSU +195 OAK +240 WSU +275 _____________________________ All other teams are +950 or higher These odds seem exactly right. Green Bay is the #3 seed, but hasn't looked impressive lately (even before Reynolds injury), and no one really knows whether Reynolds will be the same player after the ankle sprain. Unless there are upsets Thursday, YSU is set up to have the easier path than Oakland. Oakland may well be the best team, but they and the HL #1 seeds have not faired well in Indianapolis, so they have a double whammy against them. I'd pick YSU as the favorite, and Wright State as the dark horse. If we are making shots, we can beat anybody. But first we have to get thru NKU.

Man!!! (1) This message board is quieter than a WSU halftime at the Nutter Center. (2) The Raiders should be well rested. (3) The students need to come out in large numbers for their free hotdogs and make some noise.

Hope the NKU section doesn’t outnumber our student section like we have done down there. Let’s punch that ticket to Indy and try to salvage this season.

This team is best with more team play and less one on one. The higher the percentage of assist makes this offense more effective. Would love to see 20+ assists in every game. Most of Tanner’s turnovers are when he tries to control the game and too much dribbling and most of Alex’s is bad passes to someone who is totally covered.

Go Raiders! I think this is gonna be a tough game, as the Raiders had all the energy/emotion in the last game against the same opponent. And will Warren still be hot? If the Raiders win this game, I like their chances of getting to the HL Championship game. I'd say YSU is the favorite as well, boy when's the last time they made the NCAA tournament? They should have some momentum, an emotional edge on most teams. It feels like the tourney is up for grabs overall though. Could be some upsets tonight we will see.

I think Raiders win by 10+ tonight. Warrick won’t be dropping another 40. Last game felt like desperation for NKU to prove they can hang with us. Hard to beat a team 3 times but it just feels like we own this matchup this year.

I'd think Itejere will likely be back in the lineup for the Norse, which could make a big difference. With all the incentives, hopefully our student section shows up.

So I say he playing. This is good news for AJ he plays better against true bigs Agree that AJ is better on the defensive end when he plays a true big, and not a 4 who can shoot outside. However, as I recall Itejere (sp?) is also a shot blocker, and that could impact AJ, Brandon, and others (Tanner, Alex) on the offensive end. I still believe we are the better team, and as long as we don't go super cold shooting or turn the ball over too much, we will come out on top. I do expect the game to stay close at least till middle of the second half, but WSU will eventually prevail. Go Raiders!
