With the commitment of Tyler Koch, WSU has one more scholarship for the class of 2009. Who do you think our coaches are targeting the most with that last scholarships?

Here is a look at how our roster will look when the class of 2009 steps foot on campus. I think we need to bring in a true freshman based on the number of upperclassman we will already have on our roster.
Seniors: John David Gardner Vaughn Duggins Todd Brown Cory Cooperwood Jeron Lewis Ronnie Thomas
Juniors: N'Gai Evans Troy Tabler Scott Grote Cooper Land
Sophomores: Kyle Pressley
Freshmen: Tyler Koch

class, what you said certainly makes sense, but i think i would sacrifice the goal of class balance to get mark anderson. i think he would be a really good player and also give us a quality local recruit. good pr for the program. GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!!!!

My money is on a point guard. We tried to sign several this year and we are recruiting a ton this year. You have to assume this is a priority to our coaching staff.

I think a point guard is our coaching staff's top priority, but I also think they would be more than happy to sign someone from just about any position. If you follow the recruiting board, you know we are recruiting a variety of players from just about every position for 2009. At this point, we have a few offers out there that we know about and probably a few more we don't know about. We are fairly deep at all positions and we landed a stud in Koch. At this point, we can be fairly selective and really go after a top tier player. If we don't land them, there is still plenty of time to still land a solid recruit.

Bill Edwards Jr has had WSU off his list for more than 2 years.

Edwards has been to several WSU home games the last few years with his father and has been seen talking to the coaching staff, but O & W is right that he hasn't mentioned WSU as a school of interest to any media or recruiting outlet in quite some time.

I still want Bill Edwards Jr or Mark Anderson. The Miami Valley is a hotbed for basketball talent and we need to make a big splash in local recruiting.

I'm no recruiting expert, but I really like what I have read on the recruiting board about J.P. Kuhlman. I love really good three point shooters and it sounds like he can play point guard or shooting guard. That sounds like a Brownell guard to me.
I agree that we need to add a forward with the scholarship vacated by Lewis. Sam Dower is the best one available but he hasn't mentioned us since he started to get recruited by the BCS programs. Mark Anderson sound like our best option at this time.
