Talent wise, I think Anderson is a better than Dower. He is more athletic and will be able to contribute right away. The biggest question about Anderson is academics.

I really hope we land a quick point guard with deep three point range.

A few observations about our recruiting efforts:
1. I love that we already have Tyler Koch committed. This can really allow our coaches to be selective with our 2 remaining scholarships.
2. I've read the recruiting threads about all of these young men and I am very impressed with the quality of recruits we are going after. Most of the kids we are seriously recruiting are being looked at by BCS programs and the best of the best mid-majors.
3. I cannot remember ever having this much recruiting info before. We have recruiting threads on 36 2009 recruits.
4. I love that our coaches are looking all over for recruits and not just in our backyard. I like local kids, but I want us to get the best players we can regardless of where they are from. We are recruiting kids from AR, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, NC, NV, OH, TN, and VA.

Good observations. I can remember a few years back when Schillings was our coach and you couldn't find a thing on our recruiting efforts. The internet has been a wonderful blessing for fans like us.

6'6" Class of 2009 Chicago Walter Payton star Chris Eversely, of the Chicago Demons, who happens to be a stellar student in the classroom, has a scholarship offer on the table from Wright State. Eversely was highly tracked by Division I programs at the Chicago Summer Classic. www.chicagohoops.com/articles1/brianstinnette200.html

By looking at who we have offered a scholarship it seem obvious that we are going hard after a point guard. Let's hope one of them jumps on the offer and accepts.
By the way I want to say how much I appreciate all the recruiting information that BigD, Irishraider, wolf, nybuckeye, ect..........contribute to this board. I can't say thank you enough for all of your time and effort. I enjoy following who we are recruiting. Thanks guys

The same source who told me about the Kraus recruitment said the staff is looking for a PG and a big man with the two remaining scholarships. I think that's what we all assumed but just wated to throw it out there.

I really like this kid. I saw him once last year and was very impressed with his athleticism. He has the potential to be a taller more athletic version of Scottie Wilson. I would love to wrap him up in the early signing period.

I really want to add a great athlete in the post like Jonathan Smith or Mark Anderson (if he has his academics in order).

I really think we need to sign our point guard of the future and land a stud. It would be great to land a great post player too, but good guard play is much more important in the HL and should be our top priority.
