Our RPI dropped to 126 after last night's loss. We are going to need a good run over the next few games if we have any chance at a good match up. www.rpiforecast.com/live-rpi.htmlTonight's win vs Butler should help.

So this will be easier to answer once we have seen all of the matchups but what would you guys consider a success for the Horizon League in its 8 Bracket Buster games?
5-3? Maybe 6-2? A winning record will only help everybody RPI wise...

Looks like the Wisconsin schools did some damage to Horizon League's chance of possible 2 NCAA bids (one via At-Large) as Butler tumbled 15 spots and Valpo dropped 9. Both teams would have dropped a bit from last week, but not to the degree of yesterday's losses inflicted. For Horizon to get two teams in now looks like CSU has to run regular season league table (and win away bracket buster??) then be upet in in Horizon tourney final. Through yesterday Wright State #100. www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1

We are currently the 10th ranked home team. Miami is the 10th ranked away team. If things end up that way, would they set us up for a rematch? www.rpiforecast.com/live-rpi.html

With the win against GB tonight does that pretty much guarantee us a home TV game? Or will a lot ride on the outcome of the Milwaukee game?

I think we have a good shot at a TV game either way, but a win gives us a better shot at getting a higher ranked opponent and a better TV time. We don't want another 11:00 AM game like a few years ago that no one went to.

I like the fact that we could possibly play a team like Kent, Hofstra, Iona, or Montana. Let's hope that WSU can get another road win tomorrow.

How are the home games determined?

How are the home games determined? Before the season you are either put in a home team or away team pool. On 1/31/11, ESPN matches up the best teams for the TV games that will be on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU. They try to pair up the best RPI teams against one another for those games. They don't put teams up against teams in their conference or teams they already played in their OOC earlier in the year. They also try to match up teams somewhat geographically if they can.
