This is horrible. We had the 11:00 AM game a few years ago and the Nutter Center was empty. I dont know about horrible, not ideal though that's for sure. No it's horrible. We aren't getting an at large bid this year so the only thing we get out of BB is a good opponent and a chance to showcase our program on TV. The good opponent should help us sell tickets. The 11:00 time screwed us in the past and I am willing to bet it screws us this year too. If no one comes it is a waste of time being on TV. We don't want to tell recruits to watch us play on national TV when the Nutter Center is going to be empty. It doesn't help sell the program in the least.

Crappy time, great match-up. I would love to see Vaughn shut down Charles Jenkins and keep him in single digits for the first time this season. Don't see that happening but if we shut Jenkins down to an extent and Cooper is healthy again... I like our chances.

Boy sounds like Jenkins is the real deal. Katz and Lunardi both just said that's the player America is gonna enjoy watching most...

Good test for our Raiders against a very good team. The fans on their board say it's a game they should win and will get lots of publicity for their guard featured on the BB show. Hope we give them a big ol' crapburger to digest! As far as attendance, hope WSU really pushes this game to the students. Maybe get a sponsor for a BB t-shirt.

WSU really does need to hype the heck out of this one. Hofstra is a very good match up and we should be able to sell this to the Dayton community IF we advertise it. I don't know what we could do to get students out that early.

Say hello to an Ed schilling like student section Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Call me a noob That is a very bad thing. Student sections in the ES era were basically non-existent.

Not sure. I think they should get in, but you never know with the selection committee. I think it was Akron who had a similar resume a couple years back and they got snubbed.

I don't think they get in. Like they kept saying on the BB announcement on ESPNU, "who have they played". Their SOS is going to keep them out. They only have 2 wins against top 100 teams against Kent State (78) and WSU (99). Even if they win out, they will only have a handful of wins vs top 100 teams: Kent State, ODU, Butler, Valpo, and us. That isn't enough for a mid-major to impress the selection committee. I think a .500 BCS team will get in before CSU.
