I'll root for Milwaukee with that same viewpoint of getting 2 teams into the tournament. I would expect CSU to go to the NIT, and maybe Valpo. If CSU doesn't get a bid, I'll be very surprised and !@#$%^ off.

CSU's RPI is 42. I think they are a lock for the NIT. They should get consideration for the NCAA, but their strenght of schedule will keep them out. If they had won their "Bracket Buster" aka Bracket Eliminator game against Old Dominion, maybe they would make it into the Big Dance.

Watching that game last night reminded me of a Big 10 game. Large excited crowd--great student section--and physical game. Both Butler and Milwakee players have the physical attributes of Big 10 athletes too. We really need to bulk up over the summer.

I think having more "home" games will definitely help the total gate for the tournament. But I still think giving the top six a first round by followed by #1 vs #8, and #2 vs #7 etc. at the home court of the higher seed is still a huge advantage to the four top teams. If #1, 2, 3, or 4 lose then so be it. Except for the "gate", given our current format, why not just have #1 play #2 and call it a day.
