If the end game for Alstork is getting to the NBA (or even Europe) ... well ... professional basktball is littered with players from mid-majors like WSU. There is no proof that a guy like Mark has a better chance of making it professionally after being the fourth option on a big-time D-I squad compared to being the best option on a mid-major team like WSU.
I just think the kid is getting bad advice. Look at all the mid-major stars that get close looks from professional teams simply because they put up gaudy stats.

Not that they are the same type of players, but let's take Vitaly for example. He could have transferred. Would he have been taken any higher in the draft if he did? No way, IMO. It is a myth that you can't get noticed by the professional ranks if you play mid-major college hoops.

UD coach is worse than I thought if he thinks that a sloppy and impulsive player like Mark can run their point. That team is in worse shape than we are at this point in time. I still think Mark goes to UM.

UM added OU's Jarron Simmons. So, I think UM is done. He might be looking for more options.

Depends on who leaves UM, but yeah, seems they wanted Simmons badly enough to take him. If Mark's goal is to play in the NBA, he needs to look for two things. A really good coach that can develop his skills, and a means for him to get recognized. UD will not do either IMO. Would've if not for recent transpiring news from that school program, but things are down for them. Not a smart pick for him. OSU would be a really good spot for him. They have a great coach and he still has the ability to start and be noticed as a leader. Pitt also is very interested, that would be another good place for him. Louisville is interested, but IMO, they are took big for him. He would get development from the coaches, but he wouldn't get the recognition because I don't think he would outshine others there. This doesn't really matter where he goes. He's leaving, I'm fine with it, and I think we will be a better program from it.

UM is out because he doesnt have the GPA to get into Michigan. His final 6 are Georgetown, Pitt, Louisville, LSU, South Carolina, and Illinois.

But he DOES have the GPA to get into Georgetown? Pretty sure UM just went with that Ohio U player instead of waiting so they ran out of spots.

Are we keeping the same jerseys this year or getting new ones?

Typically we keep the same ones for 2-3 seasons. Obviously with the budget crisis, I am guessing the fat is being trimmed in every way possible.

I'm perplexed as to why he hasn't chosen a school yet.
