I don't see Coach Nagy playing Manns any more than he already has the remainder of this season. I would like to see Wampler back in the starting line up and I would like to see Smith and Potter getting more playing time. Those guys are our future along with Cole and Lou.

We need to kick off conference play on the right note and defend our home court tonight.

We could have won by 50 if we didn’t take our foot off the gas and played the bench so much in the second half. This team is so far ahead of last years team at this point in the season. Could be one hell of a year if we keep improving.

Posted by oaklandbrandon on OU's message board in response to Nunn's dunk: "I was in attendance last night at NKU and wanted to address kendricks dunk. There were "women beater" chants coming from the students all night. When Kendrick would shoot free throws they would punch their palms. They had signs saying "Oakland girls are ugly" and " we support not punching women." As the team walked into the tunnel they would be all over kendrick about it. So, when Kendrick had the chance at the last second, right in front of the student section, he threw it down. It adds more to his average. I am ok with that dunk under the circumstances. It would be a little different if it was against a bottom feeder team in an empty arena and we were up by 30" Read more: goldengrizzlyhoops.proboards.com/thread/1944/game-thread-ou-northern-kentucky?page=3#ixzz55QnTyF3qSo there's that. Must have hurt his feelings for bringing up a crime to which he plead guilty. For more information on this, his current 18-month term of court supervision, or his mugshot (which could be useful for fans if blown up and posted on cardboard in the student section ... so they know who the leading scorer is), students and others can consult the internet. Their fans are a joke. They defend his classless act because NKU fans rode him during the game about his domestic violence history. You would think as a fan base they would be the ones upset that their coach brought a thug into their program with a history like that but these are Oakland fans. They are used to their coach bringing in human pieces of shit that get kicked out of other schools all the time. I'm glad we have never had a win at all cost mentality here at WSU. I don't think I could root for our program if we had that jackass on our team.

One of the worst case scenarios might just happen.

I'm curious how these 3 became the finalists for the position. None of them have any experience with a D I athletic program and more importantly none of them have any experience with a teaching medical school within their respective institution. Currently they all have leadership positions with smaller, rural, non-commuter schools...The antithesis of Wright State. I'm not sure how that experience translates to WSU. The firm we hired to run this sucked.

What is the status of Belmont now? I remember that they did some type of joint venture/scheduling arrangements with the HL several years ago, but I haven't heard anything about it since then. That seemed to indicate that they were exploring the idea of joining the HL and this move was sort of an engagement period. Did they give the ring back? I'm guessing that they realized they couldn't dominate the HL like the OVC in basketball. Since their soccer team joined the HL, their basketball team went 3-4 in the past 3 years, while their soccer team went 3-17-3. So they are taking their soccer team and jumping from the HL. They are joining the SoCon in soccer now. They seem to want to be the big fish in the little pond in my opinion. www.belmontbruins.com/sports/m-soccer/2016-17/releases/20170109ekf9j8They didn't jump. We booted them. We let their soccer in as a step towards them moving all of their sports to the HL. When they made it clear that they weren't going to leave the OVC, we told them to find a new home for their soccer program.
