We’re halfway through this stretch of 12 games. So far the Raiders are 6-0 overall, 3-0 at home, and 3-0 on the road. Who's prediction is best so far? Glory Days is the only person to predict a perfect 12-0. Raiderguy06 predicted 11-1, correctly picking these first 6 victories, but he's got us losing to Butler. I hope that Glory Days is more psychic the Raiderguy06. Go Raiders!!! I have no problem confessing to be a total homer, but I honestly do think we can win out if we play up to our ability and stay healthy for the stretch run.

We are now 12-6 and 5-4 in the HL. With all of the injuries we have had, I'll take it.

The HL and HLN also have advertising budgets.

From the Horizon League office...
Thanks to our viewers, the Horizon League Network experienced unprecedented success during Thursday night's (Jan. 17) video streaming schedule.
More than 10,000 people attempted to login to HLN between 7 and 9:30 p.m. ET, making this the Network's largest viewed date ever.
With that success comes a few growing pains, and HLN would like to apologize to any viewers who had difficulty accessing the site or who experienced slow load times that night. We are fully aware of the problem and are doing everything to make sure that it will never happen again.
"We are extremely excited about the increasing popularity of the Horizon League Network and would like to thank the fans for making it a high- traffic site," said Horizon League Commissioner Jon LeCrone. "With that said, a quality viewing experience for our fans is HLN's top priority, and we are working diligently so they can enjoy the games without any issues each and every time they logon."
Fans are invited to tune in again this Saturday for a complete lineup of five men's and five women's Horizon League basketball games.

Raiders grind out another 1-point win in ChicagoBy Marc Katz Staff Writer Sunday, January 20, 2008 CHICAGO — Wright State made a big stop against Loyola of Chicago on Saturday night in the Gentile Center as time ran out, giving the Raiders a 53-52 victory over the Ramblers to even their Horizon League record at 4-4. It was the second straight one-point victory for the Raiders in the cold and Windy City after beating UIC, 76-75, Thursday, and it came with Scottie Wilson's hand in the face of Loyola's Justin Cerasoli, whose launch from more than 30 feet was well short of the basket as the game ended. "He (Cerasoli) came off (a pick) and my guard got stuck, so I had to stay with him," Wilson said. "I was hoping he wouldn't make it. That was beyond NBA range. If he made it, power to him." Power to the Raiders, who now have played 13-of-17 games to nine points or less and have won four by a single point during an 11-6 season. Loyola is 6-12 and 2-6. "We've won both ways," said WSU's Vaughn Duggins, whose two free throws with 22.1 seconds left put the Raiders ahead with the final points of the game. "UIC was a more fast-paced game." Loyola mapped its final play, in a game tied 11 times, with 12.6 seconds left. At the same time, Wright State decided to play hard defense. "We wanted to aggressive," WSU coach Brad Brownell said. "If you play too passive, they get by you in the lane. I don't think we're good enough to blow anybody out." The players think the same way, but think they can win, too. "It's a tough league," Wilson said. "It has nothing to do with us." www.daytondailynews.com/s/content/oh/story/sports/college/wsu/2008/01/19/ddn012008wsubb.html

I never made any such accusation; I simply disagreed with the idea of Butler "sucking" next year. If you really believe they will suck then PM me and we can define "suck" and make a friendly wager. Define suck. Sounds like the Clinton impeachment trial all over again.

Relax Blitz. I wasn't saying Will sucks. I was pointing out that every championship team needs their point guards to be clutch from the FT line at the end of the game since they are the ones that will get fouled the most.
