Coach Kampe is brutally honest about the evaluation of his team’s short comings but ultimately he is where the buck stops. He recruited these kids and gave them a scholarship to play. Sounds like he has a team that has a lazy culture.

Oakland's Martez Walker has a right ankle injury is doubtful for Wednesday's game.

1 seed, 2 seed. Doesn't matter. Whichever seed matches us up with Oakland then. Sorry to hear his injury is that bad though. Never like seeing those things.

The Raiders have had more bad luck than any team in the Horizon for losing players.

The Raiders have had more bad luck than any team in the Horizon for losing players. Oakland probably has us beat on that one if you look at NCAA suspensions, injuries, etc. They've had a hell of a time with that. We're a close second though

This sucks. Martez is a first team player in most people's book. Oakland is looking like an easier and easier tourney opponent. All the best to Martez.

Ouch. We know Oakland's pain. I thought Oakland might be a quasi-dark horse for the league tournament (ya know, playing at home), but now, they are like the Black Beauty of dark horses.

Looks like UIC is attempting to boost attendance with their last three games at the Pavilion... $10 tickets for the games against UDM and NKU and $5 for the WSU game. uicflames.com/splash.aspx?id=splash_1100

Smart of UIC. They are in an excellent spot hosting the two teams above them. They don't control their own destiny, but closing at home makes things easier. We really need them to handle NKU, and make our job a little easier.
