I notice they allow for more time between DH's and even more time for the last one on Sunday.
If I did my math correctly, we are averaging 275 more than last year so far. Hope it is a nice crowd tonight.

Looks like UIC is attempting to boost attendance with their last three games at the Pavilion... $10 tickets for the games against UDM and NKU and $5 for the WSU game. uicflames.com/splash.aspx?id=splash_1100It'll be nice watching the boys close out the regular season here. I'll be heading to the UIC-NKU game after work on Friday, too. The last two times I've gone to UIC, there have been more game personnel (players, coaches, cheerleaders, promotions team, concessions, etc.) than actual fans in the stands. They brought in a loud school/kids group last year and I'd expect them to do that again. It's a shame they can't put together a nice season because the Pavilion is a solid little arena. I can see that being a nightmare if they fill it up. ...and get rid of their tarps.

So, really, the headline could just be: Cleveland State Plays More Games Than Last Year.

Dikembe Dixson tweeted tonight that he will not return to UIC next season and is "taking his talents elsewhere". Big loss for the Flames.

Dikembe Dixson tweeted tonight that he will not return to UIC next season and is "taking his talents elsewhere". Big loss for the Flames. In the half dozen or so Flames games I watched this year, he seemed like a pariah. Nobody passed him the freaking ball. I can't assume to know the inner workings or dynamics of this or any other team, but that seemed VERY out of the ordinary for a system with an elite scorer. I wonder if he'll play Sunday.

In the past Dixon had no choice but to take over scoring they had nobody but the shot blocker. It will be best for Dixon and the team to split. Dixon is a cancer for that team. Hopefully they play as a team once he leaves and Dixon can play as a team member that can shine somewhere else. His size is hard to defend for teams.

Saw a tweet from Lance McAlister about NKU cutting down the nets at their place tonight at 8.

Not quite sure where to post this, but I read on Facebook that some of our swimmers won conference titles in Cleveland this weekend and we had a swimmer of the year and a coach of the year. I wonder if the swimming program will exist in any way shape or form next year?

I wonder if the swimming program will exist in any way shape or form next year? They did have some impressive performances and won some awards, but it will not exist next year it seems. In all, the teams as a whole placed very low in the overall score (largely due to having such a small team). There was a cool video posted on Twitter by Cleveland State Athletics of all the teams gathered on the pool deck surrounding WSU and everyone cheering and essentially wishing them a farewell.

Awesome! Getting Grant on first team was something I was really hoping for. Love on first team was such a long shot but glad to see Coach Nagy get the recognition he deserves.
Congrats to Loudon, Grant, Mark and Coach Nagy!

The league announced their All Academic team.
Aaron Brennan, IUPUI DJ McCall, IUPUI Drew Mcdonalds, NKU Carson Williams, NKU Parker Ernsthause, Wright State
Nice to add another accolade to the Raider's list of accomplishments this season.
