Not sure how much say WSU had but, I could see a school saying they would rather not host or their place isn't available. Went to Toledo a few years ago for the WNIT and they had a really good crowd up there.
Edit - went back and it had attendance at 1,709...seemed like more but, difference between what men and women draw.

Women play at Toledo Friday TBA 7:00 pm This is the NIT, for the record, which is pretty freaking cool. For the record, the WNIT is not operated by the NCAA. Rather, Triple Crown Sports...A For-Profit entity. I'm not exactly sure of their pay-to-play formula, but for the most part they do a good job in selection and seeding process. Selection: Every conference is represented. Seeding: Usually based on merit. However, the highest bidding team typically hosts.

Just want to remind everyone that the women play tonight. It would be awesome to see them make a deep run in the NIT.
It's already been a hugely successful season for Raider Roundball, a deep NIT run by the ladies would be icing on the cake.

Lady Raiders season comes to an end with a thumping up in Toeldo. Final was 64-50 in a game that really wasn't close. Tough way to end the season.

After starting out 1-3, the women have won seven in a row.
Hope we didn't just jinx them.

The women's team is currently routing Green Bay. They look like they could definitely win the HL this year.

Women are now 3-0 in Horizon League play, tied with YSU. RPI #80 and ELO #60. WSU has the only Group 1 win (over UWGB) in the HL and is 2-2 vs Groups 1 & 2 combined. They play again tomorrow afternoon at home vs. Milwaukee.

As disappointing as the men's team has been so far the women's team has a great chance to be the #1 overall seed in the HL Tournament. UWGB is down this year, and YSU hasn't been there like Wright State has. This could turn out to be a special year for them.
