The ladies continued their winning ways on Saturday, taking care of business against NKU. With YSU losing back to back games the Raiders are in in sole possession of 1st place. They play at YSU and CSU before coming home for 4 very winnable home games. I think they are better than YSU and will win and will easily win the next 6 after that. They could very well be 12-0 in league play before going to Green Bay.

The ladies look to rebound today against CSU after a loss Friday night at YSU. They are tied for first in the league with UWGB. It's starting to look like a 4 team race between WSU, GB, and YSU., and IUPUI.

The lady Raiders squeaked past CSU today 70-65. The Raiders trailed heading into the last quarter of play but dropped 22 on the Vikings in the 4th to notch the five point victory.
WSU and Green Bay sit atop the lead at 5-1 and have 4 match-ups they should be heavy favorites in before heading to Green Bay on 2/9.

The ladies continued their winning ways again last night, handling Oakland and getting to 7-1 in league play. They are now in a 2 way tie for first with GB.
If u haven't had a chance to watch the women play, I highly recommend u watch them. They are athletic, deep, and explosive. They deserve our support.

With IUPUI winning at GB last night, the women are in sole possession of 1st. If they handie business today in what should be an easy Raiders win, they will have a full game lead in 1st.
WSU hoops for both the men and women is heating up!

The Lady Raiders finished off the 1st half of the conference schedule with their victory over Detroit Mercy. Although listed at 5-10, senior Symone Simmons deserves congratulations for becoming the women's all-time career rebounder today.

Says the next game is on Sunday but, I believe they mean Saturday.
FWIW, and you won't hurt my feelings by saying it's apples and oranges but, Bill Edwards is all-time rebound leader for the men at 907 and I think with Symone Simmons 15, she is now at 918.

Interesting comparison. Wonder how many games each of them played in their careers at Wright State. Do the ladies play more games now than the guys played in the early 1990s when Bill was at Wright State. Either way, it’s a great achievement by both of them.

The ladies have been playing in the WNIT, Bill got to one NCAA tourney ( they didn't have those extra tourneys back then even if WSU wanted to play ). Looks like Edwards played in 114 and Symone was in her 123rd game tonight.
Get a kick out of watching Simmons play but, Bill was the best.
