Absoolutely HUGE game for the ladies today at 2:00! They play at Green Bay, and with a 1 game lead in the Horizon the lady Raiders could get a full 2 game lead if they can sweep the season series against Green Bay.
Also, YSU lost to IPI last night so the Raiders are already up 2 games on the Penguins. Check them out today if u get the chance. They are firing on all cylinders and could end up having a historically great season in all of Raider Roundball history.

Ladies led 16-15 after the first quarter and failed to score double digits in the remaining three quarters en route to a 19 point loss to the Phoenix 56-37.

I'm thinking the Lady Raiders led by one at the half, also. Second half was downright a disaster.
Think Simmons is now within 50 of both 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds.

The NKU game part 2 is tomorrow afternoon with the ladies version. Green Bay lost on Friday so, Lady Raiders need a win to stay on top.

Lady Raiders maintain a 1 game lead in the league, and now control their own destiny with Green Bay losing on Friday night. The fate of the 1 seed is likely to come down to the game against Youngstown on Sunday at 2pm (which will serve as Senior night for seniors Emily Vogelpohl, Mackenzie Taylor, Symone Simmons, and Imani Partlow). Ladies will certainly need support as Youngstown goes for the season sweep and the #1 seed.

Raiders defeat YSU 70-65. Clinch #1 seed with sweep next weekend at Det and at Oakland. Two teams that we have owned as of late.

WSURAIDERS.COM has software where the 2018-2019 season numbers don't always update the career number for the season ( usually a game or two off from the most recent contest ). Anyway, Tom Archdeacon wrote an article on yesterday's game and seemed to short-change Symone Simmons numbers from the Cleveland State game from a few days ago.
I have 14 more points and rebounds from the CSU game to give Symone 992 rebounds in her career and 990 points in her time at WSU. An individual honor but, worth noting.

it would be a very nice honor for both men and women to earn regular season championship. even nicer if both represent horizon league in ncaa.

Symone was named Player of the Week and wsuraiders.com now includes all 28 games for this season in career stats.

The ladies won at Oakland to get the outright championship. Symone Simmons passed the 1,000 career points ( after passing the 1,000 career rebounds in the last game ).
They play Oakland again on Tuesday.
