Someone else started it. Thoughts?

"Someone else" here.
The answer is obviously yes.

Well, here is the competition for the discussion: Israel Sheinfeld, Zach Williams, Jordan Pleiman, AJ Pacher, and Michael Karena.

I vote for AJ Pacher over Lou purely due to him being a fellow Vandalia Aviator and Raider. Vitaly, AJ, Lou (for now)

Right, we're not talking about a deep bench here.

"Someone else" here. The answer is obviously yes. I mean, are we limiting it to actual big men, or are we counting the poor guys Donlon forced into being big men? Right off the too of my head, Jerran Young was a better player than anyone who's played underneath for a while, but he obviously wasn't a traditional "big man"

Vest was before my time, but wasn't he a big man?

Don't forget that big man who transfered to WSU from Duquesne (even though I forgot about him and can't remember his name)

Vest was before my time, but wasn't he a big man? No, he was a 6-6 small forward. And a great one.

This really can't be answered until Lou's career is over at WSU. Right now, all of the guys Train mentioned had better statistical season than Lou is having this year and they played in the HL when it was a good conference.

I think Pleiman was probably the most recent best big man. I think JY was a good big guy, but wasn't a true 5.
Love has me excited, he's handling Hogan really well tonight. Long way to go before we start dishing out GOAT awards.

And again, we're talking about best big men SINCE Vitaly. Or else, my man Gary Monroe (and Fred Moore) from the D-II national title team would qualify.

Jordan Pleiman has a HL championship ring and went to the Dance in a Raider's uniform. I'll take his championship ring over anyone's stats any day of the week.

Jordan Pleiman was one of the top rebounders in the league when you consider the fan-friendly style of play that limited the game to five possessions per game. He also shot 60% from the field despite never jumping.

Yeah, I think we're talking about future expectations, not necessarily where Lou is at right now midway through his freshman year.
