Here are the Vols top 7 players. They all play 20 or more minutes a game.
Grant Williams 6-7 241 lbs 15.3 ppg and 6 rpg. He has made only three perimeter shots this year so he works mostly in the paint.
Admiral Schofield 6-5 235 lbs. 13.8 ppg and 6.3 rpg. He makes 39.5% from the perimeter ( 58 for 147 ). He seems to score from all over the floor.
Lamonte Turner 6-1 183 lbs. 10.7 ppg. He makes 40% from the perimeter ( 66 for 165 ). Over half his shots are 3 pointers.
Jordan Bwoden 6-5 185 lbs. 9.3 ppg and 3.5 rpg. He makes 39.5% from the perimeter (49 for 124). Half his shots are from the perimeter.
Jordan Bone 6-3 176 lbs. 7.3 ppg and 3.6 apg ( leads the team ). He makes 38.8% from the perimeter (26 for 67).
James Daniel 6-0 172 lbs. 5.8 ppg and 2.9 apg. He makes 38.6% from the perimeter ( 44 for 114). Over 65% of his shots are 3's.
Kyle Alexander 6-11 220 lbs. 5.6 ppg and 5.6 rpg. He shoots 67% from the field.
Looking at this I'm trying to figure out who will guard Williams and Admiral Schofield. I'd think Big Lou will defend Williams while Parker and Everett defend Schofield. I see Hughes picking up Turner.

Their fan board - and remember it's a fan board, not the Vols themselves - seem to be having some fun looking past the details. My favorite post is this one about Lou when they saw 275 lbs listed on the roster.
"I wonder if he can run the way our "bigs" can? Hopefully after this game he'll be wishing he had dropped the 20-30 lbs. the coach probably asked for last fall."
Yeah, something like that. I imagine an eyebrow or two will be raised once the broadcast starts.
There is a handful giving us some credit and calling it a potential trap game as the thread grows, though. Most are just blowing us off and looking at Loyola.
Trap game.

Well Kentucky owned them when it counted yesterday and on the football field last season. We hit the three point shot well and they don’t we might get the rematch with Loyola. Some of you think the game is over already so just concede it. That is a loser mentality that Nagy is trying to get rid of.

I'm telling you guys, they have one of the most delusional, blissfully ignorant, and sometimes just flat out unintelligent fanbases in the country. Keith, I've actually said that before. The reaction is priceless.

How many can remember the 1980 Wnter Olympics and the Sunday Ice Hockey finals? The Russians were over whelming favorites, well you know what happened. I will be optimistic and can see an upset. GO RAIDERS

I am very pleased to know that the Alumni Association will be hosting a WSU watch party at Fergs in St. Pete on Thursday. Can't make it over to Dallas but this will be better than watching at home!

I hate when in basketball people play the comparison of common opponents...BUT....maybe WSU shocks and goes to the Sweet 16? Of them, UT, UM, and Loyola, only Loyola didn't play Georgia Tech @ Georgia Tech....off the other three, only WSU won their game @ Georgia Tech. Unlike Tennessee, WSU beat Georgia Tech when they had their point guard. And if we got the chance to play Loyola again, I'd love to see how the three freshman handle themselves this go around, as well as what having a true point guard and our best player not coming of hernia surgery would look like....
Just sayin....
