God, you sound like me. I just thought it was a nice play on words. Oh, I know. I got you.

God, you sound like me. I just thought it was a nice play on words. Oh, I know. I got you. I'm gonna do a phonetic deep cut here: If a Tennessee player runs into a screen set by Loudon, that VOL'LL BE WRECKED!

Hall and Winchester might be our weapons against the Vols. I’m sure the Vols will not stress them near as much on defense. Those two are going to have to pull the defense off Love and Grant. Hugh’s is forgotten as offense as well.

I like the comment about Love by the Vols message board talking about Love’s size. “But can he play OL” When they hit a screen or two it will feel like an offensive lineman hitting a safety.

Again, these are fans as opposed to players...but man they are building up a hell of a lot of crow to eat.

A Illinois professor uses mathematical analysis of statistics each year and his system spits out 1 or two 13, 14, seeds for upsets in the first round. In the past 15 years, only 5 times has he failed to not get 1 of the upsets correct, he has gotten 10 of the 30 picks right in that time, granted he has missed the last 2 years, and his system’s 2 picks this year are Wright State and Buffalo to get upset wins. If you believe in statistics, he is 2 of his last 10, so he is due to get 1 right this year. Let’s hope it is the Raiders. Here is a link to his picks: bracketodds.cs.illinois.edu/BOSS_Upsets.html

Yeah, I imagine this crowd will be a little different than playing in Buffalo with Pitt (close by), WSU (fairly close by) Duke (travels well... f*ck Duke), and VCU. Loyola can't even sell tickets at home, we don't have a huge base that can drop a thousand bucks (or whatever) for a plane ticket, Tennessee and Miami are football schools, but they'll have enough to make some noise. We're counting on the neutral fans and potential second round opponents to be our cheerleaders here. Good thing everyone loves an underdog.

Our guys have played in places that were pretty full but I would say are guys are more used to playing games where you can hear crickets chirping than the Vols. Be lucky to have a couple thousand at noon on a Thursday. Don’t forget none of the Tennessee players have played in an NCAA tournament game.

If we can keep it close the crowd will ABSOLUTELY get behind us. Few years ago the crowd turned against Villanova as a 1 seed when they were playing nearby in Philadelphia.
That weird 11am game against IUPUI and all of our empty arena Horizon league games may really helps us here if we don't come in with a happy to be here attitude.

I just added the Tru-TV app to my IPhone so I can watch it while I’m slaving at work. If you don’t have that channel with your cable or satellite provider borrow someone’s ID and password that has the channel and you can watch the game on your device.
