Oh for the love of....AAAAGGGHHHH!!! You know where fans are!? Where the teams play! Highest remaining seed after the first two rounds. I'm sure everyone on this board would be perfectly fine with it if Oakland or Green Bay or even freaking Youngstown hosted as long as they earned the right. |

If I read the announcement correctly, it may not be the regular home of a league team. Or, does that mean it may or may not? A Green Bay fan made a good point on the HL board, can the bid be for days where the final is not on a Tuesday?
I agree that it still makes the most sense for it to return to the home court of the highest seed but, not sure the next bids will get us there.

I read that as its not allowed to be held at the primary home venue of a Horizon League team. Let's just host the thing at Trent Arena. Maybe then we'll sell it out. |

The most logical place will be Chicago. The new arena (WinTrust) is small enough (10+K seats) and it's operated by the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority. Their mission is to attract events just like this...Ones that bring tourism to the city. If they don't put a bid to host the HL tournament it will show just how toxic the league has become under LeCrone. |

This is the home arena for the DePaul Blue Deamons. I agree. This would be a good venue for the HL Tournament.
